cheers cheers cheers cheers cheers
YES!!
Well played everyone, it was a good fight. I really thought Javier was going to creep up and win it at one point, he had such a great run. Jofo has been there for ages and was hard to shake off, one or two goalscorers may have made all the diference. It is shame some people dropped out, I'm amazed I managed to get every week in (the competetive edge always comes out in me when fantasy football games are involved )

Special thanks to Caxi for organising this in the first place and especially Ali for running it so well for much of the season

Anyone up for another season??!!!

cheers

Firstly I want to thank Caxi for spicing this lousy season and Ali who literally update all scores in the same sec as the final whistle. I also want to thank smart ass Caxi for proving us all that his knowledge about serie A is equal to ZEROOOOO (avoid his posts) tongue

Ed was really hard to catch up. For one week or so I was first but that doesn't last long. But I suspect of calciopoli and I will send an appeal to Mr Ali affraid . Joke aside Ed guess some very tough games. Congrats man. Wink

Lets make some prizes for the first few (starting from next season or this one Very Happy). Maybe some points in advance, or one more goalscorer for few games next season, or few double guesses like 1 and X.

Well done to Ed for winning it in the end. Jofo and Javier gave it a real push as well.

Thanks to both Ali and Caxi for organising this game and taking our minds off a less than extraordinary season for Lazio.

Seems as though Kris has just pipped me for 4th place and UCL qualifying. Aussies..... tongue

Thanks guys Very Happy

I have to say, credit to Ali for keeping it simple. I feel like I'll have his head exploding with all the praise I have given him today but the fact this game has been so popular is down to the great man himself cheers

I tend to give up all too easily when I know the winning post is beyond me. I guarantee you I will participate fully next year just to beat Jofo's sorry ass tongue

By the way, I would say this is our game and it worked because it was simple. Any suggestions on how it could be made better and kept simple should be discussed. After all, it is our game. (I would prefer if we could come up with stuff to disadvantage Ed Twisted Evil )

Similar to your experience with translating Ali, when I used to use Babelfish translator on Lazio articles, it always made Marco Ballotta into "Unpeeled Boiled Chestnut" Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Everyone has a real desire to try and beat me next season, that will make for a great fight

Hahha Ali ... Very Happy By the way Google translater almost got my name right ... I'm Martin Wink

I have to say I'm quite happy with what I did in the last day of Serie A but if I had bet on those games then I wouldn't have guessed them Suspect

Next season I hope to start from the first game so I can fight for the places in Europe Twisted Evil
