Well it is official The clowns are falling apart..

Looks like Spaletti has had enough of the Sensi management..

Maybe a taste of what financial ruin can do to your side can now be experienced by our bitter rivals..

For Roma, a post Totti era will be a disaster...Still at his age he holds that team together..As does De Rossi..

They are in for some very very tough times..

All in all I think Luciano Spalletti is a great manager...Manages an enjoyable brand of football and had really taken Roma to some decent football..But the problem for him is that he has hardly been able to buy any players during his reign..And have to say a very admirable gesture expelling 2 years of his wages to help the club out..

I can't understand why fans are protesting vs Spalletti...They lost to a re invigorated Genoa side, and Roma had been cut down by injuries at the back...And lost to Juve who in my opinion will challenge Inter for the title this year...Hardly his fault...Aquilani had to be sold and he has had no reinforcements..

In any case I would say Spalletti will go to Zenit (Or Mancini) and Ranieri to Roma..

Enjoy Roma!

I kind of feel bad for the guy. He did his best with the crappy squad and limited funds he had at his disposal - yet merda fans wanted more from him. As you mentioned he canceled 2 years of wages to help the club (that's very respectable) and did his best with the little money the Sensi family gave him.

Being fired after losing the first 2 games of the new season is harsh - and especially against teams like Genoa and Juventus who are classes above Riomma.

However there is no doubt I will miss seeing Spaghetti's face after a Lazio win..... Very Happy

I really, really hope they suffer due to the financial turmoil they are in. Would be nice!

Couldn't agree more w/ you guys. He was a solid manager despite leading our sh*tty rivals. Personally, I think this was a long time coming. Losing the first two games was just the nail in the coffin, but something tells me the Sensi family had been dying to make a move all Summer. Once they fell to 0-2, done! I think the Sensi family was just waiting for the perfect time to find their NEXT manager...it just so happens to be Ranieri who became free. This was probably in the works shortly after Claudio became available, but wasn't ironed out until now. We all know how Calcio works.

I'm sure Spalletti will have a job some where in Serie A before the end of the season. Most likely a cellar team, though I do think he's better than that.

Regardless, once Totti hangs up his boots, the rest will depart. Even with Claudio at the helm, they need money. There days of being a top 4 club will be a challenge in the years to come.
