Didn't see the match but looks like a good, solid result. Nice to see Ballardini giving some other players a game and apparently Stendardo played well which is terrific. I still have hope that he will be re-integrated into the team. Just saw the highlights and nice to see Zarate back on the score sheet with another classy goal. This type of match and its atmosphere will prove helpful when Lazio face Villarreal in Spain in a few weeks time. Well done Lazio!

Great result not the greatest performance. Been saying that a lot recently but it's evident.

Kudos to Ballardini on some of these ideas. Del Nero at left back might be an inspired move and it is really backing Radu into a bad position especially given Stendardo's solid performance tonight. Might not be long before we are saying goodbye to Stefan. Needs to up his game because I do think Del Nero, with time, can be an adequate back up to Kolarov. His defending skills are not great but he's a worker and we know he can bomb forward. An interesting proposition.

Cribari at right back was baffling but understandable somehow, given the circumstances and it was good to see Faraoni get a shot. By no means the finished article but neither was/is Lollo and MDF is a lot younger.

Much to be encouraged about. I will say one thing that is becoming more obvious; this team have the mentality of champions. Even if we lack quality, we are going to pick up many points through having great goalkeepers, a great coach and a great team spirit and mentality. I'm very optimistic about this season; it will be interesting to see how a loss affects us but I got a feeling as a unit, we are stronger than last year.

Faraoni is lighting quick, but I think even on a talent level he's better than Lorenzo de Silvestri. He excites me a lot.

I'm a bit sorry for our keepers, Bizzarri played an absolute blinder. He and Muslera really both deserve to start, it's good for competition within the squad, but its hard on the one who isn't playing.

very good result, and game not so creative...first i must to say that im very pleased by our youngsters, specially by Faraoni also and Perpetuini - he remind me of Veron by his style...
also very good play by - Matuzalem, Bizzari, Stendardo and Foggia...also Diakite was very powerful and certain in his play...so i think that in our first 11 should be Diakite and Stendardo as center defenders...
also other think i like to mention is that until now from all ive seen from Eliseu is that his is nothing special and maybe less good than Manfredini...

Cruz is good at winning penalties.

I love the fact that we are winning games while not playing well. That proves we have come a long long way from last year. Espescially with a make-shift team. It's that winning mentality that we have been missing for ages which enables us to grind out results. We see all the top teams do it, hope we can continue down this path.

Bravo Ragazzi.
