Three hours of pure LazialitÓ, at least four thousands people with flags and scarves, there to free our Lazio.

More news next week (maybe).

Looks like the sit-in had a good impact on the players - we saw a great fight on the pitch today bounce

Certainly a better effect than that confrontation at Formello. Hoping for better times ahead.

Forza Lazio and Forza Laziali!!!

-----------------------------------

ok I haven't thought this post through, it's easy to "be a general after the battle was won", but I honestly believe a peaceful protest is a better way to go than to heckle and insult the players. Either way the players are aware of the fans' passion and that they have to replicate that on the pitch. Grande Curva tonight, I heard them all match long.

Well, it's really tough to add anything to the beautiful picture posted by Jester. LazialitÓ.

A short report for you. It has been a fantastic meeting. At least 4,000 Laziali, with flags and scarves, filled the square just outside Curva Nord. The meeting was organized by the Curva Nord people, but attended by people from every sector of the stadium. There were elderly people, there were very young people. Couples. Curva Nord, Tevere, Monte Mario, Curva Maestrelli. Laziali, once again united.

After half an hour of waiting, this song dedicated to lotito (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OK4fJhbRL1g&feature=related) did signal the beginning of the meeting. Many people jumped on the little truck and took the microphone to express their feelings about the situation and explain what happened. Each intervention was interrupted sometime by a chant, and the chants were so strong, some of them shouted so loud that you could hear them echoing inside the Olimpic stadium.

Tony Malco and Scarcelli chanted their hymns, Vola Lazio Vola, So giÓ du ore, Cent'anni insieme and we chanted with them, flags waving and scarves opened. We chanted for Aldo Donati. It was even better than in the Curva. Particularly touching was the speech from Wolfango Patarca, former Lazio Youth teams manager. A man who discovered countless great players, from Nesta to Macheda. Patarca outlined the true disaster of the Lazio Youths, with amateur teams outclassing us in almost every campionato.

Among the journalists who spoke, the most remarkable intervention was Capodaglio's. He helped us to better understand which kind of person lotito is by telling us the way he treated some Lazio staff, and the revelations that Paolo Negro, Capodaglio's friend had told him as soon as lotito took over. Pino Insegno, an Italian tv comedy-star, also spoke to support the sit-in and made some jokes and making us laugh hard ("yesterday we made a draw against the Tribunal away"; "in the trials table we are second, we are gonna play the trial CL next year").

It was also nice to see Toffolo finally back.

More importantly than the gathering, there was the signatures. Signatures were collected to fight lotito's speculation, with people explicitly saying we want Flaminio, and to kick lotito away. Very soon there will be new elections in rome...

A bunch - a number or group of similar things.

Whether 4,000 or 15,000, it is a group defined by a numerical value and a fanbase would qualify as 'similar things.'

Before insulting my intelligence (not for the first time) you should question your own.

Caxi, once again, slow down.

I am not insulting your intelligence. You are. Very Happy

As you might guess, English is not my first language, and I made that clear in my statement.

So. Relax. Take a deep breath. And delete these two posts because I don't want your rubbish to infect this beautiful thread.

Then I will edit the last line of my report, OK?

PS Stai a rosica' Very Happy

It sounds like a great day. I wonder why it hasn't received much international media attention...at least in th UK.

Keep up the amazing work Laziali, wish I could be there.

Conn, did you say there was another one coming?

In other forum people are debating for the numbers: 100 . 1000, 5000----

Is the number the real problem? or is the quality?

The fact is that this situation occurred because someone is now in a corner .
Lotito creates Lotito destroyed-

I forgive him many times as a tifoso della lazio for the bene della lazio ( as a fan for the good of lazio)
but i can't stand him anymore as i always said in this forum and to HIM , personally, as a man.

I am Laziale and nothing and no one can remove my skin.

Well, this was the just the first one and there will be others. The original plan was to make a demonstration from Stadio Olimpico to the city centre, but in order to ease XMas traffic in Rome, such demonstrations have been forbidden until mid-January.

Apart from that one, which is more than a possibility, there is also the need to bring directly the issue to the City council.
After all, "panem et circenses" is a formula that originated in Rome. Very Happy

Ahahaha! Hope another one can materialise. It's these actions that makes me so proud to be a Laziali and re-ignites my love for the game.

We want Lotito out. I hope he sells the club. We need someone that is thinking about Lazio and not his pocket.
