couldn't see the first half but what I saw the second was a disaster. no idea no nothing. Rocchi and Zarate were ghost. Zarate again trying to dribble past 3 and again losing the ball. only Radu and Floccari looked good on the field tonight. Everyone else doesn't deserve even to be sitting on the bench!

Lotito open your eyes!

Maybe we were tired of the cup game but this performance is not acceptable!

SACK BALLARDINI!

stop blaming Balla, it's not his fault that he has a sh*te midfield. I mean, without Kolarov and Matuzalem, we have no proper midfielders who can play in Serie A. Look at today's midfield:

Baronio - sh*te, Serie B level
Del Nero - plays one good and four bad games. Sh*te
Lichtsteiner - crosses whenever he has the opportunity instead of holding up the play. Nevermind there are no Lazio players in the box.
Dabo - ...
Mauri - simply terrible, yet ends up extending his contract until 2014 cheers bravo, Lotito
Firmani - the only player that i like. Might not be the most technically gifted player, but always gives a 100%

I see the same reaction today as I saw when Delio's boys went down 3-0 at home to Chievo.

Delio Rossi and Davide Ballardini are not bad coaches. They are good coaches with numerous squad issues.

People here keep banging on about the negativity of Ballardini and why he hasn't gone more positive when it got us 4 against Livorno. Now you have your answer.

The side is as unbalanced as could be; unless we address this problem with a few key signings in key areas, we cannot push up the table.

The side needs a defender based on what formation we need to play. We don't have a proper left back, we don't have a proper right mid/wing back, we don't have a right sided centre back we can rely on (Siviglia is gone, Diakite' is inexperienced). At the minute, Lichtsteiner is suffering and Siviglia is getting exposed as a result.

We all know the midfield problem; been saying it has been an issue for years.

If we sort those areas out, I think Ballardini is capable of fixing it all up, as Rossi masked problems for years but in truth, Baronio and Firmani are probably the best we have right now. It's not good enough but with injury and a lack of action on the pursestrings, expect days like these.

I understand Caxi, and Ballardini himself declared we need reinforcements. But they aren't coming. From what we keep reading day in and day out is all the players that are our targets keep snubbing us and procrastinating. There isn't enough force and determination in the talks. The only arrival (Floccari) was simply given to us no questions asked.

Between Tare's uselessness and Lotito's stinginess we're on the brink of disaster.

Next up is Fiorentina (which will be a massive game for our season) and then Chievo at home. Fiorentina is give or take but if we don't produce against Chievo at home then what are the chances that we will finish anywhere near 10th place? What, we are going to beat Juve away?

Reinforcements need to arrive before the Juve game (obviously because transfer window closes after) and if we don't get a quality stopper and a quality offensive midfielder then the season 04/05 will look like a massive achievement in comparison.

As for our side being totally unbalanced I can understand that, but I can understand how on earth would you play a 3-4-3 formation with an unbalanced side.

Everyone knows that our defenders mostly Stendardo and Siviglia have no skill at all they just head the ball and shoot it away, Stendardo is also a fighter which is a +. Radu is the only fine defender that we've got. All of them are quite slow so fielding a 3 man defence is a suicide unless you would field 2 full backs. Lichsteiner and Del Nero had to much attacking duties to do since our midfield is completely useless. Exposing our defence like that was a suicide and thats one of the hugest tactical flaws our "Mr" has done today. Fielding a 3 man attack with none of them being able to create anything doesnt make sence also but that I can understand since we don't have anyone to field apart from those.

What would have made sence was to try and patch things up.

The defence Lichsteiner Stendardo Diakite Radu

Their role is completely about defending they should rarely attack.

The midfield Zarate and Del Nero on the wings looking towards running to the centre of the pitch. With Firmani and Baronio giving the task to protect the defence and spreading the ball to start attacks.

Rocchi and Floccari looking to finish any decent chances they might get altough none of the players can provide good chances maybe the chance would have arose.

This team might have stood a chance.. altough without Matuzalem and Kolarov we have no creativity at all and that should be tackled as soon as possible.

Ballardini for me is a retarded person and should just quit his misserable career.

I agree. Changing the manager won't solve the problem. Its player quality that is lacking.

We are down 2-0 after 10 minutes against BERGAMO!
I mean that there must have been something wrong with our player's attitude today...and it's the job of a coach to make sure players have the right attitude!!
Ok, there were some better performences the past weeks, at least the results were ok, but today it was the climax of smelling as...we throw away erverthing we've earned the last matches with today's result and that really is annoying!

Ballardini isn't a bad coach, last season he did great for Palermo and you don't turn shitty overnight. He came to Lazio at a bad time. The Pandev - Ledesma issue, two key players who are unavailable (Now one is at Inter and the other might join him or Juve, good players), take De Rossi and Totti from Roma, Cassano - Palombo from Sampa or Hamsik - Lavezzi from Napoli and see how they perform. What Balla needs are his own players who fit his system. Let him get them in January and finish the season and then judge him on the next. Now he plays with Baronio, Dabo, Siviglia and Mauri, not an easy job.

Ballardini might be a prt of the problem, but he is not the main issue in the BIG problem that we have. No coach in the world could do better than this without a midfield and without decent defenders. Ballardini might be better off leaving us, but that is far from the solution for this squad. There are other, larger and more complicated, things behind this failure than Ballardini.

I have soent the last few hours thinking...this is the worse first half in a long time, isnt it? This was the most absurd smelling as I have seen in years...

If Ballardini is really a good coach, he can bring out the best of what we have. We don't need good players now. What we need is a player who can play with all his heart, and this can be led by a good coach. So i am against Ballardini on this.

I think, it was "good" to loose in this way. The game showed that we need a creative midfield player. Lotito have to react on the market and Ballardini tells this in every press conference. This is good. With this style, Ballardini is putting some pressure on Lotito.

If we have won this game, Lotito would have thought that we are good enough...

I must admit I crossed the line there but I was pissed off at how mistaken he was when he chose that formation and actually that was the first line I wrote and then I kept pushing it downwards while writing that post until I forgot that I wrote that, atleast it helped me expressing what I feel about our Mr. Baldy !

i m also against him (balla)in this one,and i know that our problems are bigger but i dont want to repead same things all the time, this time i will use the exam like boksic wrote about his 3-4-3 tactics:
at home 5-4-1(or 5-3-2)-with middleplayers who need to help defence....
away 3-4-3
crazy
