Well, "Titty"was on the team tonight and Vuci still played brilliantly.. our defenders must be really aware of them..

The result was 3-1, a disappointing result as a lazio fan, but not to bad feeling for Serie A fans.. at least this game shows the snob premier league fans (especially those one-sided english commentators) that Serie A is not below the premier league at all, their league leader was beaten by Serie A relegation battle team tongue

Way to let me down Chelsea! You come all this way and lose 3-1? Pathetic.

I see your point about Serie A, it's just hard hating Rioma and seeing them dominate Chelsea.

Regardless, it does shut the mouths of the cocky EPL or NOTHING announcers.

Riomma beat Chelsea 3-1 Crying or Very sad

Its not like I am a Blues fan but as a Lazio fan and anti-riomma supporter it does pain me. But as some have pointed out, its good for Serie A and Italian football in general that a top quality side who are currently first equal in the EPL got beaten good against a side hovering just above the relegation zone in Serie A.

I watched the Liverpool - Atletico match live on ESPN this morning and it finished 1-1 with Steven Gerrard scoring a 94th minute penalty kick.

Even though I support Liverpool I don't think they should have been given the penalty. Possibly, but even if it was, it was a very, very soft penalty to give. IMO Pernia had no idea Gerrard was coming right behind him. The match referee and his officials were not very good at all - like in the previous fixture between the two sides - even though different officials there. Liverpool should have had a penalty around the 50th minute and Atletico had 2 possibly penalty shouts later on in the second half. Agger had some good chances on goal from set plays but unlucky not to make the keeper work to save them. Gerrard, Keane and Carragher had good shots and opportunities each to score. Atletico didn't do much in terms of creating goal scoring opportunities but the few they did were good and there goal was brilliant I thought with a lovely setup by Antonio Lopez to Maxi Rodriguez. It was also nice seeing Luis Garcia getting a warm applause from the Liverpool fans when he came on. One of my favourite Liverpool players ever!

Atletico Madrid were robbed tonight... no way it was a penalty and they should have been awarded two penalties for handballs by pool players. pool should have one pk also and that is it

Chelsea were trap last night. Even they managed to beat them.

On the other hand, I was ashamed with the ref that awarded that penalty to L`pool last night.
He should be banned.

It was definitely a very, very silly penalty to give. At first I thought he was joking. But then I realised it was truly given. The commentators said it could have gone 50-50 though although I am not too sure how so. But as I mentioned before the referee was pretty bad and his officials weren't helping in making such silly calls and not awarding penalties when they actually should have been.

I didn't see the riomma - Chelsea match but don't think I want to given what you guys have said about the shite way Chelsea played and were dominated by riomma.... No

Maybe that things occurs not only in Italy, but also in Europe or even the world!!

Europoli and Wordpoli!!

Why the hell Fifa and Uefa against the instant replay sistem?!! For the referees to be fully powerful in every match?! Well, power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely!! Just ask Lord Acton for that!

Kick Blatter and Platini out from the world of football!!

What a shame that a player like Del Piero spent the best days of his career with that fucking cheating scum club. His recent form is unbelievable

They are by far the worst commentators in the world! I have to put up with them in Scotland, not that the Scots are much better either! Must be a British thing. Very Happy

All these years Inter was considered one of the "favourites" to win the CHL,and we failed completely...
Now,if my team really wants to be a serious contender for the CHL,we have to eliminate the reigning european champions..
I'm not scared of United and our main advantage is that Jose knows this team and their players quite well..
Hope at least to have some european success this season..

Inter will never be considered a top european side without winning the CHL..

SerieA is not enough..

Juventus will knock out Chelsea. I am sure of it.

In fact, I might place a bet on all english teams to go out even if I want Arsenal to get a result Twisted Evil
