have a look to the barcelona group JA! always the same!!! all the years the same. give them the quarter quialification directly, they never play a real the since the semis (sometimes chelsea in their group...sometimes...) i like real madrid group, cause if we want to win the champions (or get to the semis) we have to face strong teams. (if you think zenit is not a strong team think about this: do you like to go to play to St petersburg in a cold -15 weather against the uefa champions...?) merda...the same that barcelona, always the eternal 2nd place xD!. the most attractive group for me is h. they are teams with the same potential. Ah just one more thing...wehere is Milan, i have lloking for them all the day in the groups but i cant find them!! help meee!! xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD.

Lyon and Fiorentina will put out Bayern, that's my tip.

Groups D and F are the closest I believe....
Liverpool, Marseille, Atletico and PSV will be close, as will Fiorentina, Lyon, Bayern and Steaua.
Also group E is interesting with ManUtd, Celtic, Villareal and AaB - although the former 3 will be expected to battle it out to advance to the next stages.
Barcelona have been given a good group with no disrespect to the other teams. Shaktar, Sporting and Basel will cause problems but surely Barca are favourites to win that group.
I am hoping Juventus and Zenit do well and give Madrid difficulty in qualifying (sorry Federico Very Happy ) and BATE Borisov too are a good team (they knocked out my Bulgarian hometown team, Levski Crying or Very sad ).
Group G could swing either way I would say with Arsenal, Porto and Fenerbahce all having an equal shot and Dynamo makes for an entertaining group as they either do well or not so well but judging by their impressive qualifying win I think they will cause problems for any opponent this time which is good to see.
Group B is another group which has perhaps 3 favourites and a dark horse present. Inter are favourites to win it but Werder Bremen and Panathinaikos will not make it easy and the first timers Anorthosis Famagusta will be good to see how they cope. They could be a nice surprise indeed.
And offcourse group A.... we know who we do not want to advance Wink so all the best Chelsea, Bordeaux and Cluj. Despite what those clowns suggest about them mounting a serious challenge on the UCL I really do not see them doing so. There are several better teams than them in the competition.

Looks like a good UCL competition this season and hopefully we get to see some exciting games.... all the best especially Barcelona and Liverpool but also would love to see Celtic do well too! tongue

I doubt this highly, the only way it will be close is if Liverpool mess up, Atletico should have more than enough for PSV and Marseille.

I think Manchester United and Villareal will battle it out for the top spot and Celtic will get the UEFA Cup spot. For me, this is the clear cut group.

Arsenal could struggle no doubt. I actually can't pick a winner here as Porto normally make the knockouts, Fenerbahce almost put Chelsea out last year and Dynamo destroyed Spartak Moscow but then again, Drogheda United almost put them out in the previous round. That will be a close group.

Anorthosis and Cluj will cause the shocks. Definitely. I have no doubts.

Liverpool would be favourites if they play at their best but I mean for second spot it is close. On paper Atletico would be the obvious choice but unfortunately they do not always get it right and have had some big shocks go against them in recent seasons. Marseille did well last season and always play well at home so thats why I feel they might sneak into 2nd spot. I think they bet Liverpool last season in the group stages. PSV tend to get some nice wins in the UCL over the last few seasons although last season was not so much the case but you never know. They are the Dutch champions and have some fine players. Thats why I tip this group as being close - at least for 2nd spot anyway.

I would like to see Celtic advance but I think they are considered to finish 3rd.... would be nice to see ManUtd bounced out in the first round Very Happy and if they keep on playing the way they are now then it would not be as big of a surprise. But when Ronaldo gets back they will probably get good again.

Actually about that? This is off topic but if Ronaldo did leave ManUtd, how many of you think they would retain the EPL and UCL? I do not think they would. It is early in the season obviously but I feel they rely on him too much and if he were to leave then they would not be such a threat - no disrespect, but I feel he is their main player by a mile and without him they are not as good as they are when with him.
