It will be really hard to take something from Sampdoria but I think we can and we will take 6 points from our games with Bari and Siena.

We look now at the home match against Bari (without Zarate) waiting for the FIGC to decide whether yesterday Rocchi cursed "Zio" (Uncle) or "Dio" (God), and ban him in the latter case. It says a lot, and yet what we are experiencing is nothing new in our history.

Stellone della Lazio, daje!

My guess.....
3 days for Zarate
1 day for reya
0 for rocchi.

The sickest part of it all is that the refs get away with more or less anything, while players and coaches are punished.

Phantomm, those were Paolo's predictions.

Lega Calcio decided last tuesday: Zarate got a two-match ban. Rocchi and Reja none. http://www.lega-calcio.it/media/Cu22323456.pdf

I read Reja's comments about reaching the 40 point mark. That is the minimum Lazio should achieve.

The upcoming matches, with Bari and Siena especially, will be key. They are both at the Olimpico so Lazio really need to make the most of them. Both these sides are currently struggling so full advantage of this needs to be taken given that our relegation rivals have some big matches with strong opponents at the same time. Also because we have a very hard match in between away at Sardinia next weekend - and not to mention a clash with Milan following Siena.

We need a response from both Reja and the squad, and we need it first thing starting tomorrow against a determined and unpredictable Bari side who are hoping to get back to winning ways.

It all turn bad on us isn't it. All teams threaten by the relegation are fighting pretty good. Catania and Atalanta for example.

It is really all in players hands. If they are capable and really realize that this smelling as can't go on like this, then we will be fine.

Till then, I pray to the football gods to save our ass.

expecialy catania, they are preaty danger at home, and have a good contra atacks(wich are using away when they defend and play for one point).
atalanta away are very poor, same as livorno,
bologna are now more free(good results in three or four matchs).
i will like to talk about this expecialy after today s game Wink

siena is wake up,also some last years they always saves in the end(i mind they have expirience in this one),also they have coach who is better than other teams coaches(teams that are trying to survive),this is very bad for us.
game of atalanta against livorno came in the best time for us(they pay this weekend),atalanta need to win(and will have 25)or if game finish with draw than merda will have 25,i dont think that atalanta will lose this one..
catania and udinese are 5 points better than us,slowly they following bologna near safety zone.
the good one is that they have away matchs this weekend(chievo and rioma waiting them).
our position will depense a lot of livorno and atalanta(dont forget siena)matchs,i just hope that they will lose a lot and this will help us a lot.
next sunday against siena we need to win(if not than with one leg we are in serie b for sure).
i agree (somebody wrote that our chance are 50% 50%)that stil exsist a chance for us,lets just take that 3 points and take a breathe easyer.

winning against siena will be real big step for understanding the meaning of this battle.
also i hope that cagliari will be back in sardenia with points(unleast one)
dont have doubt about inter and the they victory against livorno,
its time for violla to shows why they need to be in europe next year Wink
but first of all we dont have credit to blow this one
and after all if chievo took the point will be the desert of the night

One of the chasing pack (Atalanta, Siena, Livorno) will surely mount a massive challenge at some point. We have to drag Udinese into this with us and pick up points in these tough ties. They're struggling and I really don't want to think about a relegation play-off on the last day because it is could well be heading that way.

24 points Livorno
Bari H Genoa A Udinese H Chievo A Catania H Samp A Lazio H Parma A

I've put in RED the games played against direct relegation contenders. Each of the red games is sort of a play-off and a 6 point game actually.

So I guess the objective is to keep the gap between us and Atalanta as big as possible (they have a terrible schedule) and try and score some points so that the last 2 games aren't playoffs to avoid relegation. In my view the 2 crucial games for the salvation of the season will be Napoli and Bologna before the 3 massive games.

Forza Lazio

I'm looking at Catania and thinking they're going to be fine...if I can say that about Catania though, I should be able to say that about us.

Livorno look down already but I'm peeved that their schedule is so tasty in relation to everyone elses.

Going to be a dogfight and a half.

14. Catania 30 8 11 11 -1 35

Tough battle. Lazio is facing hard games but also Everyone else. Paz excluded Bologna but I think that Siena, Livorno and Bologna will be in serie B next season.

Well at the end its all in our hands.

You've got a point there Jofo, Bologna is in the same boat as the rest of us. It will be tight.

*************

35 points Catania
Napoli A Palermo H Milan A Siena H Livorno A Juventus H Bologna A Genoa H

35 points Bologna
Palermo A Inter A Lazio H Udinese A Parma H Atalanta A Catania H Cagliari A

32 points Lazio
Milan A Napoli H Bologna A DERBY Genoa A Inter H Livorno A Udinese H

32 points Udinese
Fiorentina A Juve H Livorno A Bologna H Siena H Cagliari A Bari H Lazio A

28 points Atalanta
Juve A Siena H merda A Fiorentina H Inter A Bologna H Napoli A Palermo H

25 points Siena
Genoa H Atalanta A Bari H Catania A Udinese A Palermo H Fiorentina A Inter H

24 points Livorno
Bari H Genoa A Udinese H Chievo A Catania H Samp A Lazio H Parma A

*********************

And I still believe it is imperative to shake of the challenge that Atalanta will present, after all that's all we have to do to survive. Siena/Livorno can't catch us any more and I really don't give a flying fuck who will be the 3rd team to drop as long as it isn't us.

i m shure that livorno is going to serie b,siena is also with one leg in b(but they playing better than livorno,so they have a little chance)
i m agree that bologna is in same boat with us
but i think that catania have very hard games incoming, and i will not be suprised if after 3 next matches they stayed in 35 points
also one good thing that i see(or thinking, almost 90% for shure)is that after this weekend no ones of team wich playing for survive will not took the single point(so we can go relax at san siro and playing best we cant, edy reja result will be perfect Wink 0 2)
