I don`t think Arrigoni will be appointed.

There is still too much confusion. He might be one of candidates, but certainly nothing is over.

Guys. Edy Reja???

Reportedly meeting Hajduk bosses so he can take over at Lazio.

Wouldn't be bad IMO.

Reja is more useless than a comb for Rocchi.
Better than Arrigoni though.

Reja is a good coach. Not the best, but Lotito will not pay millions in coaches.

If Lotito can get Reja cheap, than I´m sure that Reja will be our next coach.

I think that he´s a good coach, because he worked very well at Napoli. - Especially for more than 3 years. show me a coach under Lotito who worked well for more than 3 years...

He worked well at Napoli? What exactly did he achieve there? How did he develop talent such as Lavezzi, Hamsik, Santacroce? Let's not forget that he left Napoli tarred & feathered.

Delio had up and downs. It´s not working well for me.

Serie A 2005/06: place 16
2006/07: place 3
2007/08: place 12
2008/09: place 10

If we are honest - not good. 2006/07 - no Juve and Fiorentina at the begin of the season 13 points behind us.
2008/09: cup trophy.

That´s all in 4 years.

Please understand me right - Delio was o.k., nothing more.

Nevertheless, I would be more than happy if we now would have Delio, and not Ball! Very Happy

He pushed them from Serie C to Serie A and in the first year to an Uefa Cup spot! - I think this is better than what balla did in his career!

I was not saying that he would be the best solution, but I think he´s a good coach.

On the same token would not be good either. We are royally screwed because all the good coaches already are in management.

hahaha , i really have no clue who should be our coach there is no 'good coach' available to handle our lazio. im affraid that whoever coach that take balla's job will just do the same like what balla did , because of the lack of quality.

Certain coaches specialise in certain areas.

It's like Gio said in another thread, it is no surprise that Rioma have sprung to life under Ranieri, as, like Sven, he is a quality team-builder but I wouldn't be expecting trophies.

Ballardini, for me, is a youth coach who specialises in bringing the best out of young players (look at Radu and Diakite' this season). I still firmly believe he will prove to be a good coach but I don't think he was ever what we needed, although I did have faith in him.

I like Edy Reja but I don't think he has the temperament we need.

I really want someone who commands respect, who can go quietly about his business and sort out these egos walking around Formello.

My choice? Walter Novellino. The best of a bad lot.

Reja would do ok I think, if he comes and does well I hope he brings Ibricic and the younger Sharbini brother with him, in exchange Lazio can give Hajduk Ballardini, Inzaghi, Makinwa, Manfredini, Meghni, Mauri, Bonetto, Dabo, and Scaloni. tongue

Now waking up from dreams and back to reality, whoever comes, must deal with Lotito and the Lotito-atmosphere that seems to contaminate the spirit of most people involved with this project, example; Matuzalem and Lichtsteiner got punished for speaking, for loving La Lazio. Best players are actually excluded because they want what is best for the team, only one example.

Ballardini was actually a good coach until he had to deal with Lotito, the man who destroys careers of players and coaches for fun. Does anyone here actually believe he is going to hire someone who dares to stand up to him? He wants someone who can cover for his lies and betrayels, his own interests, rather than working for the fans and the club.

This is so sad and this club is infected, it is now Lazio needs you all, only you can heal the wounds and make her spread her wings again, she can do without your dispair but needs your strength and patience
