Dare I say it, Edy is perfect for our Lazio.

That's what I saying before he came. He may not be a tactical genius but he know how to dig deep and get the best out players without taking trap from the management.

Why do you think that he's not a man for trophies, a winner?
Actually Lazio is de biggest team he has ever coached... He has never had the chance to win anything.

simply the trophies coachs do not use 5 3 2(edy s 3 5 2),
they give freedom to the team best player,
not usin playmaker in the middle(except world class player),
the midfield is always the stronger part of the team(and our middle almost dont exsist,no mater how many players you put in the paper(before the match)or in the field,
the players are not changing after every game,
the game they dont based on the defense(with five),scoring after corner or something like this(after free kicks etc)

but i say one more time that for this moment the best coach for our lazio(strong personality-we need this now more than everything)

The happy time is over, old man!
You showed that you dont understand anything about football

When Zarate came in, our team got completely lame
He is a right-foot player, so he must play in de left side of field to be able to dribble opponents
every ball was ended to Zarate, and he was surrounded around by 2 or 3 players so he could do nothing except missing the ball!

ahh common...u cant blame this one on Reja...we were completely in control of the game till Floccarri missed the penalty...Reja played an excellent tactical game till that point...I think Zarate should have enter half time, that was the only mistake...Floccarri was clearly out of this game and he was allowed to shoot...I mean it should have been Rocchi or Kolarov...but he wanted to add one more goal to his collection...that's all...from there it all went wrong...
I fully support Reja and I liked his attitude after the game...
If he saves us this year, I think next year he will lead us to a top position.

Don't agree with his decision to take out licht, our best player toghetter with Rocchi, but can't blame this one on Edy.

we played perfectly except for the finishing part. Lichti had to go out cause we needed Brocchi in defense. Lichti is too much ofensive lately. It was a hard but good decision

Agree that we needed Brocchi on the pitch but would rather have taken out Mauri then Licht.

We didnt lose cause of tactics.

We lost because when Roma took momentum after the Floccari penalty, we died off. Someone needed to fire up and galvanise the team and it didn't happen. Once Roma scored their penalty it got even worse. Mentality is everything in football and in a Derby even more so.

Tactics didn't cost us three points, but Reja didn't get it perfect for me.

Brocchi, Ledesma and Mauri were all underperforming. Kolarov and Lichti were having joy on the wings but we were starting to feel the pressure from Cassetti and Riise. For me, he should have taken out Ledesma and dropped Mauri into the midfield and play with the tridente. Then, if all else fails, throw Cruz up there instead of Floccari and play Maurito left and Tommaso right.

What he did with Zarate was horrible to watch and ineffective.

Lazio Prepare New Deal For Coach Edy Reja - Report

http://www.goal.com/en/news/10/italy/2010/05/12/1921029/lazio-prepare-new-deal-for-coach-edy-reja-report

Apparently Reja wants guarantees that both Floccari and Ledesma will stay. I hope Mister signs the contract. I would personally love to see him in charge of our bench next season. Plus he has balls to stand up to Lotito. Grande Edy!

I'm hoping for a renewal with Edy, and hoping for this rumor about Marino coming to fill the DS position to be true.

Mario coming in for the DS position would be a real coup. He's worked with Reja before, was responsible for bringing Hamsik and Lavezzi to Napoli and their rise from the ashes, and is a winner as well, part of the Napoli 1987 setup.

More so than Reja re-signing. We urgently need to cull our list.

Reja needs to start with a clean slate. That way there are no excuses.

I read that Reja wants to cut the squad down to 22-23 as part of the deal he signs.

Top news, 22 players is enough for a roster in my opinion.
