William, perhaps you should think a little bit more before writing down I don't have the balls to point my finger at what I don't like.
I've been arguing with many people here in Laziofever (the only "place" where you can see me) before you even knew about it. It was never personal, but still I did never hide or got away from a tough argument, "pointing my finger", as you would say, directly.
For instance, now I'm pointing my finger at you and I'm asking you to repeat your words next time we meet. Anyway, I love your analysis and inference skills.

I'm fucking TIRED to give explanations to people that make X-RAYS to my posts. And for your information, William, when I wrote "other Laziali" I meant "other Laziali". From this forums, from other forum, from my work, from my gym, from my town, from my Curva. I would need too many fingers, and I have only 10. Despite what you might think, I don't live in a forum and I have many chances to talk "face-to-face" with Laziali about Lazio many times during the day.

Hope you like the explanation.

I dont have much more to add to the discussion but I think it is obvious we all dont support la Lazio in one way, but rather we all have individual ways of supporting Lazio. To me, supporting Lazio and truly hating merda goes hand in hand. I dont want to be relegated, but I am ready to gamble for a tougher last two games, given that we lose against Inter. What I hope is that merda will get nervous after the derby and lose points against Samp, and when Inter beats Atalanta we will be closer to salvation and then we can give Inter the three next Sunday.

Lets win against Genoa, and we can all relax against Inter cheers

(No offense taken William,as far as I am concerned you questioned my comment and not me,and as long as things are kept that way I have no worries at all. We think and feel differently on this one, I dont see how I could be offended by that.)

Who cares about Totti right now ? The only thing we have to care is about Lazio and our relegation battle! True fans care only about their teams and don't look at the other even if they are city rivals. At the moment the only thing I think about is that I really want Lazio to stay in Serie A and I don't care if Roma or Inter will win the scudetto. Yes, I would be much happier if Inter win it but with Lazio's current situation I think only about my favourite team.

William, I don't know what kind of answer you want from me, really. The only point I tried to make is that we see our hate for asroma in different ways and each of us has his own view on Lazio Inter. I completely respect yours, I'm sure you respect mine. In the last days, talking to people around the city, listening to some fans in the radio and reading some comments in this forum as well as in other forums, I heard/read things I didn't like, such as "you are not a real Laziale if you want to lose against Inter". And to this it was directed the sentence you quoted.

Now, having said this, I take it as a personal offense, and a very serious one, when you tell me "you don't have the balls to point your fingers at things you don't like". Especially because I am quite a direct person. And you should know it, because I've always been direct in this forum, as I am in life. Actually the only time we met I was so direct (in the stadium) that I almost ended up having a fight with a guy because he said to me "put down your fucking flag".

I hope I was clearer now and we can move on. If not, then I'll wait for you to repeat your offense to my very face. But then clearly I won't be replying by making a post.

A perfect world....
1 We stay in A
2 Merda fuck up their scudetto charge (Even if it means us throwing the game)
3 Inter regain the top position and win the scudetto

A real world....
1 We disregard everything else, other than winning ALL of our games.

Who the hell do people think we are to play god and win when we want, and lose when we want. Have you all forgoten our form over the current season? We are in a dire situation! For me, Its win at all costs. If that means that Merda get the scudetto, so be it. I just dont want to be regreting throwing the Inter match to spite Merda if we end up going down by a point.

FORZA LAZIO!

For what it's worth...the discussion is ridiculous in the sense that Inter are one of the best teams in the world, and even if we give 100% we'll find it difficult to beat them, so it's not a matter of just turning up on the day with the desire to win or not.

Che sara' sara'

we have a match against Genoa in a couple of days which is much more important:

No Stendardo and Radu may not play either so we could be forced to go in with an even more depleted side than we expected. I'm guessing that it'll be a Dias-Biava-Diakite backline but wouldn't count that man Siviglia on making an appearance.

Expecting Del Nero on the left in place of Kolarov and probably Baronio in place of Ledesma.

Bit question for me is up front. Who do we go with?? Do we give Mauro his chance to shine or do we need to give Floccari a chance to redeem himself and get some confidence back after the penalty miss against his old club. Tough choice. I wouldn't mind seeing them both together actually but there's no justification for dropping Rocchi after that brilliant derby performance.

I would play both! Wink

Muslera

Lichti - Diakite - Dias - Del Nero

Brocchi - Baronio/Hitze - Mauri

Zarate

Rocchi - Floccari

I think that the 4-3-1-2 would be the best choice because IN Genoa you have to be offensive there. If you are playing only defensive (with 5 defenders - especially when Kolarov miss), then we won´t be able to score.

If we are playing more offensive, Genoa will get more pressure and won´t have a happy time with us.

So where do we go from here? You threatening me???

What you can do is continue your "keyboard war" over private messages. And the way I see it, you're both threatening each other. Knock it off.

What scares me is that Atalanta are capable of surprises. They beat Fiorentina, they lost to merda on blind luck, they beat us and Inter will have no picnic against them. Another thing is they play Bologna the game after, so depending on what happens this weekend both of those teams could take a step forward while we remain rooted to the spot.

Genoa is beatable. That's all that we should focus our energy on.

Don't think for one second that if the roles were reversed and Inter for instance draws this weekend and loses the scudetto race they'd give us any favours in our struggle to stay afloat. The friendships between sets of fans have no bearing on the professional players playing football.

Correct, the discussion was relevant earlier in the week but with it being this close to game time, I'd rather not be discussing it. I'll set up a poll about it over at the Lazio Offside and I'll run it for a week and if people want a 'general consensus,' then do it through anonymous vote. Or someone can set one up here but it is almost getting too heated for opinions to be had at this point.

Out of minds until Monday morning boys.

Just saw a report of training that mentioned that Foggia took part and played just behind Floccari, providing a goal, an assist and some dribbling skills - maybe too early for a match come back but good news nonetheless.
Del Nero and Baronio are obviously the likely midfield additions, seems Zarate may sta on the bench too.

William, I felt really offended by your words and I did let you know. That's all.

I see that for you it's perfectly fine to say to people "you don't have the balls to point at things you don't like". It's not normal to me, to me it's a plain provocation and I'd never dare saying it to someone. especially if I nearly know him.

I think I've explained quite well the meaning of "other laziali", which triggered your provocation. Perhaps you could have apologized, but I see you preferred insisting and playing the part of the victim.

I am not threatening anyone, I'm warning you. I do hope there is a good extent of communication problem and getting lost in translation in this. I hope... mostly for me as until yesterday I thought about you as a very cool guy. Trust and friendship is something that matters to me mostly.

Anyway. Thanks a lot for dragging me into this ridiculous discussion.

No Stendardo, Ledesma and Kolarov sucks big time. Radu should make it however which is encouraging.

I assume Biava (although I prefer Diakite), Baronio and Del Nero will step in and start. I'm hoping Floccari starts as well. He needs to redeem himself, and what better time than against his former side - also, up to last week he was doing very well so no need to hinder Sergio's confidence further. Rocchi is a must start, as is Lichtsteiner.

Maybe Hitzlsperger will finally get his chance to shine instead of Baronio? Or maybe Reja will change the formation completely although I really hope he doesn't. The 3-5-2 is working well for Lazio so I'd keep it!

Regardless, I hope to see a Lazio side back in confidence, giving it 100% and putting the derby disappointment behind them and getting a positive result against a tricky and unpredictable Genoa side.

FORZA LAZIO!!!!!

I would play counter attacking footbal against Genoa's 3-4-3. Too bad that Kolarov can't contribute to this match, as I personally see him + Lichty and Mauri (playing as AMC) as key for this game. Also, think that Gasperini would like to score in the first half, having in mind that his main strikers (Palacio and Aquafresca) are doubtful for the match and dont know if they are gonna play the whole game. So scarpe trough the first half without goal in our net can easily bring us victory or draw game at least. Hope for Del Nero as substitute on Kolarov too.
Hoping for the best.. Forza Lazio!

3-5-2 Muslera, Biava, Dias, Radu; Lichtsteiner, Brocchi, Baronio, Mauri, Del Nero, Rocchi, Floccari.
