Ok. Sad to see Flocc being injured, but this is not the worse game to miss this season.

Inter will win, no matter what. They have so much to play for, this is their last "tough" game in the league and they are aiming for a tripple, and a perfect season. I hope this game will be a calm and relaxed one...

Hope you have a great time Jacob! Very Happy

So now we will have Floccari, Stendardo and Ledesma all out, as well as Reja serving his touchline ban - not to mention Matuzalem and Meghni. All well, I guess this is the best time in the season for them to miss a match. Wink

Its unlikely Mourinho will alter his starting XI much so I am personally expecting a full strength lineup - apart from Sneijder, who may be rested for this match, and perhaps Motta being replaced by Motta.

Inter are undoubtedly favourites and with that lineup and their current form, and what they're hoping to achieve this season, its hard not to see why.

Seems like he's injured forever. Like Foggia. And Matuzalem. And Meghni.

After Atalanta - Bologna 1-1 we have much more easer job, we are 5 points clear of Atalanta and they have two difficult matches against Palermo and Napoli so i don't even imagine they can beat both of them, easy with this match against Inter

I think it is payback time. I recall when we beat them 4-1 a few seasons back, now they came to beat Lazio.

For all those who thought Floccari and Foggia were injured - players called up:

Portieri: Tommaso Berni, Fernando Muslera

Difensori: Giuseppe Biava, Mobido Diakitè, Andrè Dias, Stephan Lichtsteiner, Stefan Radu, Lionel Scaloni, Sebastiano Siviglia, Aleksandar Kolarov

Centrocampisti: Roberto Baronio, Cristian Brocchi, Fabio Firmani, Pasquale Foggia, Thomas Hitzlsperger, Stefano Mauri

Attaccanti: Stephen Makinwa, Sergio Floccari, Tommaso Rocchi, Mauro Zarate

Not saying they are definitely fit to start but they are included (although where Dabo is search me)..
Glad to see Maki got back home after delivering Caxi's B'day card, seemed a bit harsh to keep his delivery van though... cheers

Floccari is in, so the talk about himbeing out completely wasnt correct. He is starting with Zarate; Rocchi on the bench...

Meh, and Mourinho fields just one real striker, relying on Eto'o and Sneijder. We really could see us fucking their title up.

Just take a look at the substitutions and you know right away they never really wanted to win. Hitzlsperger and Scaloni, two players who never play, got in. Well, quite disrespectful to them as well, to be honest.

Also Foggia, with Rocchi sitting out the entire match.

Bibidi bibidi bu, lo scudetto non ce piu!!! I guess it's all that matters now, what's done is done.

I think our fans went too far tonight, when they booed at the Lazio players. The hate towards roma should never outshine the love for Lazio!

Blog: Shame on Lazio

Lazio have embarrassed themselves, the sport and now Susy Campanale really hopes they get relegated

Sunday night’s game at the Olimpico – although frankly I hesitate to call this training exercise a game – was the most embarrassing display seen since the infamous 80-minute kick-about between Germany and Austria in the 1982 World Cup. Just as we’re trying to get past the Calciopoli scandal, a performance like this gets televised around the globe. It would've been nice to see the title race go down to the wire, but now we'll never know if Roma deserved it.

Lazio’s fans have suffered enough this season, so I can see why they’d ironically cheer Inter on in their bid to ruin the Scudetto dreams of arch rivals Roma. After all, they have proved themselves to be pathetic, small-time supporters whose only joy in life is wallowing in bitterness and dragging everyone else down to their level. Hard to think this club won the Coppa Italia last season and beat Inter to the Italian Super Cup in August, yet the crowd maintains the mindset of a provincial side. We expect nothing better of them.

The players, however, have absolutely no such excuse. You are professionals. Did it not burn you to lie down and let Inter trample all over you, not even trying to mount a comeback or even tackle for the ball past the centre-circle for the entire second half? Out of interest, when huffily denying you’d gladly lose to rain on Roma’s parade as the questions came in constantly for a week, did you already know you’d put in less than 10 per cent effort?

Really, I am curious whether this was a pre-meditated team decision to give up your dignity and the right to call yourselves professional football players, or if the surreal atmosphere of the Olimpico swayed it. How bizarre it must’ve been to play while your own supporters chanted: ‘If you win, we’ll beat you up’ and ‘Get out of the damn way.’

On the strength of this performance and on seeing how unlucky Atalanta were to be pegged back by Bologna, I have absolutely no qualms in saying I really, really, really hope Lazio get relegated. They don’t deserve to be in Serie A and it will be good riddance to their small-minded supporters. Send them to play their local derbies with Frosinone, at least then they'll be the 'big shots' in town
