Paolo,

It's often a thankless task but I'm sure we all appreciate the hard work. I hope everyone realises the value of this project and the efforts you've endured. You've worked tirelessly and I know that and I think we can all look inwards and find fault and ask ourselves again, as you always have, what we can do for Lazio? But with a new tide, there is a turning and with a new dawn, everything will be brighter.

Grazie.

We have put so little effort at the Lazio Offside blog compared to what we could have done but the news in english gave us 20,000 page views last month. We have absolutely no discussion there but we are pulling in a ton of viewers.
.

Wow, that is quite a lot of page views man.

So, if we update the new LazioLand site few times a day, we can reach 100.000 per month?

Who knows but it appears news in english = a much larger audience. Clearly people would have to be enticed in but the absence of a news section is what is generating our audience.

Forum participation is fine but the target audience appears to be 20-30 year-olds in general; people who probably have the time to browse through forums to find news, a generation who probably have adequate IT skills to do so.

I don't think Lazioland will cater for the needs of our older audience; those who drop in every once in a while. I don't think this forum has done for many a year and I think some will needlessly say the forum has lost something because of it.

I understand Paolo's frustration at all the attempts of creating a news section but it cannot detract from the forum. I am sure if you put it to a poll, there would be an overwhelming response in favour of it.

scratch just got thinking and I cant remember why we're moving. Why? I mean there's nothing wrong with LAZIOFEVER so why hop aboard another ship(LAZIOLAND) and desert that which is fine as it is? This has probably been discussed but I seriously cant remember.

Nothing against LAZIOLAND of course.

My friend.
We are moving for many reasons:
1) Here we are "guest" of bigforumpro and so we depends on someone else house ( host) for free-
2) Lazioland is not just a new domain where Laziofever is included but is something that is ours ( we pay for it) and totally under our control.
3) Lazioland and Laziofever are not just a forum and...............................

sacrifices are making us stronger-
