Regarding the history section we should put "our" history in it, how the community developed and what meetings we organized. The history of Lazio can easily be read on Wikipedia.

Primavera section could be amazing with dedication and I will say that. I know a vast number of people who could make that something to be proud of.

I posted countless suggestions as a mod and none were taken into real consideration. I have no desire to outline them again as they should still be in the mods section when needed.

History section is being wasted but I'm not getting into that one again. Personal agendas have and will continue to destroy any chance of improvement there.

I believe I've prophesised many things about this forum and while it will inevitably change for the better, I can't help but feel that we will end up with a feeling that more could be done.

About Primavera: Is anyone looking for that section with skill and time?

About History: Being wasted? Why and how- Give us a line to follow. 3rd Personal agendas?explain it please

About final sentence: more could be done-----Please give me more headlines.

The problem with history sections Paolo is that anybody who has any interest in history will bias it. The section needs a subjective, simple format. K77's work is going to waste because it is unillustrated, there is no design. I don't think the history section merits work because it has been largely overlooked but part of the reason it has lacked interest is because the format is too difficult to wade through.

Alessio's original idea was great but only as a supplement and the idea needs to be carried out properly to have any use.

Primavera only needs to be organised a bit like the Roster/game topics. Doesn't take much work from someone who knows their stuff to make that attractive. I find it difficult to follow the Primavera but like many here, I would love to do so. It interests me.

If Ali had a helping hand, game topics and roster could be massively impressive.

I think the Free Talks section should be renaimed Fun & Games with a "Free Talk" topic as a sticky.

Unnecessary for both a Laziofever in Action and Laziofever History section. Should be merged.

Football In General could be narrowed down to "The Mixed Zone" in that, we have topics for all dedicated leagues, a special sticky for the Riomanistas etc.

All in all, the forum could be much more compact. Sometimes it is hard to know what to find in what sections. In the next couple of days Paolo, I can draft up a rough design of how I think the forum should look and post here.

As it stands, the forum is great and the purpose of this is not to criticise but rather to make it easier. People like the forum design but with a move away, we can keep the old style, the tradition and make it more user-friendly with a few key amendments.

So i wait for your board idea and also some kind of hints for Ali helping hand.

Sile, to be completely honest with you: we don`t know too!
One thing is for sure, before the new Serie A season begins, we will move there.
Whether it will be early July, late July, early August, mid-August, we don`t know yet.

You have no idea how hard we are working on it, despite having daily jobs, families and other errands to run.
We don`t want to start and then face issues with posts, registration, upload, this and that.
We want that, once we announce the start of the new forum, that should be a stable platform.

Please bear in mind that none of us is IT specialists. We are wasting lot of resources (time and money), reading tutorials and learning
day after day new things and features.

No one knows when new Lazio Land officially launched but Paolo. I'm sure that he has already perfect plan for our community. I guess no need rush, the forum and site is still being developed and since no IT specialist involved (Amir said Very Happy ) makes this job even harder. But this forum made by us and for us.

This is how I would organise it. I think we can narrow it down, so no need for headings, just sections, and I would have them as follows:

(SS Lazio) General

- The same material as is now posted in "Only SS Lazio."

(SS Lazio) News

- Dedicated news section updated daily.

(SS Lazio) Fixtures & Results

- The "game" topics.

(SS Lazio) Mercato

- "Transfers & Rumours." Should be divided into 2 topics; actual rumours and then suggestions. Covers everything with ease.

(SS Lazio) Roster

- as is, new features should be presentation, it should be a montage for the players, more videos, more pics, cleverly selected. Too much work for one person.

(SS Lazio) Online

- all relevant info to other sites, forums, blogs etc.

(SS Lazio) History

- History section, needs to be formatted similarly to other topics because at the moment, for me, it looks like a long-winded story with little structure and it is not attractive. Someone should be gathering little bits and pieces, scanning them and uploading them where appropriate. Loads of members are capable of doing that.

Lazioland History

- "Laziofever in Action" and "Laziofever History" combined into one section. Only one section needed for both, not enough topics in there to demand two sections.

About Rome

- The same questions are asked continually. We should have dedicated sticky threads listing the main info, covering all questions asked in the travel topics. Should cover tickets, travel, tourism etc.

The Mixed Zone

- Dedicated league topics as stickys. Keep the rest as is.

Fun & Games

- "Free Talk" topic as sticky along with dedicated youtube topic, movie game, serie a game etc.

Comments, FAQ's & Rules

- if the registration form idea is still going around, why not throw an optional survey as a sticky in this section along with rules, space for FAQ's etc.?

The Vault

- Speaks for itself; archived topics.

Organisation of team should be as follows for me:

Team members who work on maintaining forum who should be assigned specific role and responsibility e.g. Ali Alkatiri - Moderator of Fixtures & Results and Roster. There should be a "go-to-guy" for every section.

One member should be assigned the role of general moderator; responsible for enforcing the rules, maintaining forum. His/her decision should be final. Should be someone Paolo trusts to be fair, unbiased and responsible.

Topics should be deleted more frequently also; should be an inactivity timeframe. If a topic has been inactive for, say, 6 weeks, it should be deleted/archived.

Hi.- Arogance? there is no arogance asking for a simple answer:

Lazioland is a new domain where we will host our new forum.

laziofever will be totally renovated and under our control.

The main reason why we move there because we need to keep our property forever_

Thanks

Good post.
Let me add just one point:
As u can see i always look for some help for the forum , site activity. Results are minimal cause ppl are more interested on reading the forum, reply, or discuss.
For this reasons site like lazialita', la lazio siamo noi or some others are MORE active then us because ppl working on are getting some,,recognition as journalist in Rome or some money trough the site owner...

Thanks

I agree it has failed in the past for numerous reasons but it should be implemented if at all possible. I guarantee you activity on our forum is correlated to how much news is readily available.

We have put so little effort at the Lazio Offside blog compared to what we could have done but the news in english gave us 20,000 page views last month. We have absolutely no discussion there but we are pulling in a ton of viewers.

I still feel there is a happy medium yet to be struck. Problem I had with the news section is the fact that it never covered properly what most fans wanted; mercato, mercato, mercato.

Room for a news service in "mercato" section? Surely it is worth one final shot...

Cax...
Mercato mercato....Players , team... u are right.
so let me ask you :
why u opened a blog?
why i ask support to la Lazio siamo noi for translated news in english?
..............

This 2 question can answer to you and many others why i am disappointed sometimes with myself . Because i never had the strenght and cpacity to transmit all my ideas on creating a forum site full of news , images, video etcetc where anyone could find the real Hub for international Laziali.
The internet has and incredible power..to split community in smaller pieces because many are looking for their own house and , why not recognition after all efforts .
Lazioland is a place that should be moved up by each member cooperating on it. Not from One.
My goal was to create an active forum and witness prove it.
To be recognized as one of the most important forums community for la SS lazio due to our presence and organization / we did.
To be recognized by la SS Lazio ..we did.
