after 100time first i like to say that this tactic is so fuckking annoying...even we have ball in our position much more than Al.Nasr the result is no good...in this tactic Bresciano and Zarate where lost in the space even at the end Bresciano make some good moves...but im suprised from Del Nero who actualy i think that he play good in that position...
anyway i just like to say: fucku Reja dinosaur!

At least dinosaurs used to rule the planet at one stage. I'm happy to have a guy on the bench who once kicked something's ass.

I understand why Reja plays 3-5-2. Simply, we have three excellent centre-backs that I don't need to name because you know they are good enough. Then, I can speak for the vast majority when I say under my breath...Ledesma, Matuzalem, Brocchi...Floccari, Zarate.

Which leaves us needing two chaps on the wings and not much else when everyone is fully fit. The problem is, we have a bunch of very average wing chaps and not enough non-wing chaps who are actually good.

Therefore, with three quality centre-backs and at least two who can easily slot in and do a job, it makes sense to stick with this three man backline.

Bielsa brought it back into fashion this summer.

im still questioning my self does Caxi watch or read football..
you're happy because we have Reja and we lose from Al.N...and we can't win any other serious team..and let me tell you that the reason about playing with 3CB - is not about our "excellent" center backs (btw Dias today was playing like shitt) the reason is because that's Reja favorite tactic when he was playing midfielder in world war2 for his military team...
..did you watch this 2games that all that 3 center players in the midfield are in one line and to close eachother and so easy marked from the others...Zarate is alone keeped by 2 players and he has no help from the midfield in the attack...that excellent difence is receiving cheap goals from 3d class players...and if you gonna play with 3CB much smarter will be 3-4-1-2 or 3-4-3 (same as other teams which r playing with 3CB)...
what did Reja have ever win in his 100 long carrier...why do you think Napoli sucked him...this tactic and Reja is for a team which is fighting relegation battle... Laizo ambitions should be in top 4..
and btw you are so wrong if you think that this Reja tactic is more offensive than tactic with 4 players in the back line. why do you think Zarate is not scoring...with 4-3-1-2 or 4-2-3-1,4-3-3 or 4-4-2 will be much different in a positive way....but just with good coach - and that's not Reja...

now you remind me what you where saying this time last year...so so false things...same thing again

reja s 3-5-2 is cllasical 5-3-2,a defensive tact wich one is based in three cd(and after every game we will have comments like our defense was good but our middle or attack blows).
tactic of the teams who are afraid from everyone(even 5-4-1 is better than this becouse you will except some action from the middle,or some contra attacks- four men in middle can keep the ball, also can create a chance,or even if you defense can help and support a both lines).
three men in middle(and all of them more support defence(ledesma-brochi-matu,or mauri, bresiano)and three cd....what is this?
between 25 or 30 meters is the space when we dont have a single player, and even if we had-he will be lost(no matter who, messi or zarate...).
3-5-2 in this lazio could be(talking about middle) ledesma-brochi-matuzalem-bresiano-mauri.....or use foggia-meghni...but not lichty, zauri, scaloni(you can call them attacker, movie star whetever you want but.......

im far from impressed, we need some magic in the midle asap

if we dont get that special player for the middle then expect us to fight for top 12

that one player can make a hiuge difference in our game and ambitions for next season

mark to zoran: Al Nasr are not a 3rd class team. chill we still have time and we need a class midfielder. To be honest I don't expect Ledesma to be on his top. On the other hand I did expect Zarate to start scoring

Al Nasr is worse than a 3rd class team, but these friendlies make no difference result-wise. The players are not fit for playing games yet, but despite that we lost undeserved and the whole point is to practice in game what has been practiced at trainings...

3-5-2, as we play right now, will be a massive failure since we lack good enough wingers. If this is to function we need better wings, and more movement in the centre and someone with some ideas in the offensive midfield. Right now the teams will need 5 minutes to figure out how to position their players, as the tactics will be too easy to read...

Keeping in mind what it is Reja is aiming for with our play (run, run, run) we should play a diamond midfiled, either 442 or 343...all up to what players we have...

I think Matu had a good game, as for once he looked as a part of the team and not a solitary player in a team...

Don't worry Zoran, if he's old he's not stupid. He said several times that his preferred tactic is 3-5-2 but in Auronzo he's also experimenting with a 4 man back line and said that such a tactic suits Zarate more, and we still have to see how it will all look like when Floccari comes back.

Regarding the game, it was brutally boring, but I can say that Berni seems to be a decent sub for Muslera, that Bresciano is playing like he's been in Lazio for 5 years, Cavanda is a very interesting player. But we are again suffering from the same terrible defense like last season, their 2nd goal was awful, and like a carbon copy of last season it was only then that we really started playing. Before anything else the mentality of the players needs to change dramatically.

here you can find links for watching almost all interesting games world wide: http://www.myp2p.eu/ (for last Lazio game there was around 10 links..)

but still i can't understand why Brocchi is playing in this tactic (btw he was the capitan - i also don't agree with that) Brocchi in the center (you can't expect any creativity in the attack from him, he is just bad copy of Gatuso and he's job is to distract our opponents - right from him Lichtsteiner and beyond him 3 center defenders - where the hell you expect any creativity here...also now Garrido will play at left next to him may Raja put Ledesma - he is to slow and also he is more defensive midfielder - so now i have mention 7 players with more defensive characteristics (and you all expect creativity in the attack and scoring goals from Zarate) not going to happen with this players and tactic.
i think if you playing with this 3CB and 2full backs - than the players in the midfield should be more fast and with attacking characteristics - maybe first choice will be for me Matuzalem and if we take that Hernanes or somone like him...second choice may be someone like Meghni...and Ledesma and Brocchi only if we have positive score and keeping that and playing defense..

also from what ive seen until now i think Reja is forcing Biava (he believe more in older guys than in quality players like Diakite) also i don't think that the capitan should be the older guy - i think that job should be for the the most quality players in the team..

Garrido's arrival changes everything. It makes a 4-3-3 very logical but we still need a good midfielder to make it work permanently.

Guys, it's not rocket science.

Transfers work in a certain way. Lotito only negotiates with presidents and only a select few bother with him. Why do we have Garrido? Because City wanted Kolarov enough to discuss that with Lotito. Why are we after Hernanes? Because Lotito has negotiated with Sao Paolo on Dias so he went back there for more business. Heck, why do you think we only ever buy from Genoa, Bresica or Empoli in Italy? Lotito can only buy players from around 10 clubs. Why Gonzalez from Nacional? Because of Muslera. Why is Romagnoli on our radar? Because we got Pintos from the same club.

Tactics work in a certain way. Garrido is an out and out left back, Lichti best at right-back so backline of four with Radu and Dias makes sense. Reja has already stated that he wants Ledesma, Matuzalem and Hernanes as a midfield trio. So, should the Brazilian come, Brocchi hits the bench and becomes a dirty sub to break down play. Then it is Zarate and Floccari in attack with one of Rocchi, Kozak and from recent experiments, Foggia.

(update) this is how i think should look our basic tactic and squad:

i put in the picture almost all players we got but its clear that many of them should go.. also i put Hernanes (but if is not him than must be some other new)
why Diakite before Dias - because Dias in SP was playing last 3 years in 3CB line so maybe this will be little strange for him, also i believe in Diakite potencial and he is taller, more explosive, and jump like a kenguru drunken that's why i prefer Radu-Diakite and Stendardo-Dias
also Foggia can take Rocchi place and Meghni can be very good sub in the midfield - if you all remember how was he playing against Werder in ChL..

i really believe that this squad should be in top 4 in the league:

Goal:
Muslera, Berni, youth player (Italian)

Defense:
Radu, Diakite, Dias, Stendardo
Lichtsteiner, Garrido, Cavanda, Del Nero

Midfield:
Hernanes, Matuzalem, Ledesma, Meghni, Brocchi, Gonzalez, Perpetuini, Mauri (only because he's Italian)

Forward:
Zarate, Floccari, Rocchi, Foggia, Bresciano, Kozak

so here r 25 players which 11 (including Bresciano are Italians) ..this players can play many types of tactic ..also Mauri and Gonzales wont be much used if we don't play 4-4-2 (left side: Mauri right side Gonzalez) so they can be sold also

from economic and some other reasons this players must go:
Bizzari(i think he take around 500k salary - sell or loan), Biava(good for Serie B - sell), Cribari(loan or sell), Scaloni(sell or loan), Zauri(i like him but i think we don't need right now - loan or sell), Firmani(also good laziale but he don't have luck - loan), Barreto(time to loan in Serie B - we have Zarate, Rocchi, Foggia)
Manfredini(we can pay money to go and never come back) and im not sure what is still happening with Bonetto(same as Manf case)
