Yes it's tonight and lets all hope Sao Paulo loose! Very Happy
I'll be more than happy if Milan take Boateng because he's a cry-baby like Cassano and will make only problems if he comes to Lazio and now it looks like Reja has made a good team and a good atmosphere and Boateng isn't welcome at all!

no idea why we are interested in hugo almedia. guys average. sure we are lacking a big striker but floccari, rocchi, zarate plus the youngsters is more than enough for our strike department

I'm not sure if you've seen enough of him, but for 4-5 million euros, he is a must buy for us, very good in the air, has a very good technical abilities for a tall striker, he's the cheaper version of Dzeko imo, I hope we could sign him asap...

if we also sign Hugo Almeida that will be a great thing.. i really think that he is much better than Floccari.

Agree that he would be a very good signing...

But its not a matter of him being "better than floccari" we need a taller mobile target man...Floccari is great in the air aswell, but realistically our strikers are Floccari, Rocchi (coming off the bench) and Almeida if he signs....Zarate will be playing on the wing IMO...

Watching him for Bremen, he is always in the thick of everything...would be a good signing if we got him for 4m..

Can't see it happening...

Huntelaar will still demand a fairly high fee...why i don't know...

But why would we offer Ledesma? Its been hard enough to find a partner for him! And Hernanes isn't even ours yet! (officially)

All paper talk..

Guys, check this out:
http://tribalfootball.com/serie-a-football-news:

Lazio face new delays over their deal for Sao Paulo midfielder Hernanes.

The Rome club had hoped to wrap up a deal for the Brazil international this week, but a row has broke out between the owners of his registration.

Traffic, which holds 17 per cent of Hernanes' transfer rights, announced on their website that the player had been sold.

This move infuriated Sao Paulo, where director Marco Aurelio Cunha barked: "It was a disrespectful act.

"What happened shows some pressure for things to be resolved. It was a little demonstration of how not to manage business. The negotiation involves not only the percentage for Traffic. "

I know it's just tribal football, but that's not the kind of news we want to hear right now!

Inevitable. Lotito needs a creative midfielder, Manchester City are one of few clubs who he speaks to, what do people expect?

I really don't see what anybody's problem with Ireland is in terms of what he can offer on the pitch...

I think Caxi tipped someone to start the S. Ireland rumour Suspect

Seriously, he is a great player, and i would love to have him in Lazio, but i think it is not possible as he would probably demand too much? Dont you think? In any case, with him our midfield would become world class.

Huntelaar for Ledesma? Cant be true. If so, we would need Boateng and Hernanes to come in, and if that happens, and Cristian want to leave, I would see it as a dream move. Still, I reckon there is no one out there better than Ledesma for our midfield. I know he has his ways, and that his agent is an ass and all the smelling as that happened last year, but in my eyes Cristian in a world class midfielder - which will be further manifested the day he gets someone to partner him on the offensive midfield...

Hernanes - will we get him or not? i mean is like a neverending story that seems to end up like Carrizzo...delays, adaptability, etc
Hugo Almeida - would be just great...our best transfer of the summer if it comes true...and for 4 mil...is really really cheap...
Huntelaar for Ledesma - a joke :)
Ireland - i would sign him tomorrow...solid...can be our second Gascoigne!

Just dreaming:

Zarate/Rocchi
Flocarri, Hugo Almeida
Garrido - Hernanes, Ledesma/Ireland - Lichsteiner
Radu, Andre Dias, Stendardo
Muslera

Reasons for rumours are obvious, City have a huge squad and can only register 25 players, their regime is one of the few Lotito deals with, Ireland is affordable, out of favour, hates the English and Irish press and has Italian heritage.

Any more reasons why we should (a) be looking at him or (b) that he should be linked with us...

To me he is just an average player...

Everyone loves him because he gives all he can for the club he plays for and gives it for all the 90+ minutes like a lot of younger than him players don't do!
Brocchi is a true warrior!

I want a squad that can challenge all teams, Brocchi isn't good enough in my opinion...
I'd have him only as an advisory role to younger players to show them how to give all

Remember Milan wanted him back this summer. He is a very good player.

Yah, very probable having Ireland here
Great sense of seeing through things

Rumours are only to inform us what is REALLY going on, yes?
And those who come up with them do it so kindly and happily just for all to enjoy
What hidden intentions?
All the publicity things, quantity of attention and sacks of gold are just pure bonuses

Look, Tare went to Brazil only on holidays, stomping down the Morro beach, getting his pale ass some tan
The rest was just an act
Hernanes who? What already signed papers?
He came home anyway

Ireland, yes, he would probably prefer Reja than Martin O’Neill any day, actually, he would prefer him So Much that he is willing to cut his pay waaaay so it would fit the limits of what is offered right here. Most likely.
And Man C, yes, they would LOVE to give him away for scraps rather than use him in an exchange deal for Milner

Sao Paulo lost tongue
Hopefully he'll join us after the Brazil friendly.

He's a crazy crazy player after watching that game I think 14 mill is a steal!

I can't wait to see Hernanes in a Lazio shirt!

Watched the game via the net, To slightly add to Gianni Calcio's previous statement... He is one crazy mother fucker of a player. If this goes through, and he performs like that for us, i may just pee in my pants a little from the excitement.

OK, So i got the squad list from wiki. As a run down again for us layman's, can we get someone who has an inkling of knowledge about the clubs intentions, to put a general comment next to the players name re: their future with us.

IE: Has contract with us through to 2013, Will be loaned out to "X", Speculation that "X" club are interested and he will go, Not part of Reja's plans, Re-negotiating contract, looks set to stay... etc.

Well, it's nothing official but its from the player himself. I've watched São Paulo - Internacional and after the match giving an interview yet on the pitch Hernanes said "It wasn't the goodbye I wanted. I wanted to leave with the title."

And according to São Paulo DS, the details of the transfer will be sorted out on friday.

For me, he is undoubtely a starter at the Brazilian National Team.
