Why a 5 year extension? Do we want another Inzaghi on our hands. Lotito needs to start thinking long term.

Right, sorry to do this but when we move to Lazioland, can we outlaw comments like this? What the above comment has to do with Stefano Mauri is beyond me. It contributes nothing to the forum.

It frustrates the flying fuck out of me to click threads to see stuff that alludes at a relegation battle in a season that is 2 months from even beginning. Trust me when I say I'm not the only one either.

Maybe he was pointing out that with maurifuck another 5 years with Lazio means next year we will avoid relegation in the final round compared to this year.
If this guy gets 5 years then good luck guys who really dream that next year we will achieve something.

I would like Mauri to stay (as a back up) but 5 years seems a bit too much. Give him 3 and I'd be happy with that. He is not brilliant but he has shown his quality in the past and since Reja's arrival he has rediscovered some good form and can still play a role at Lazio.
