Pandev contract talks postponed:

http://www.goal.com/en/news/698/lazio/2008/11/24/978987/goran-pandev--lazio-postpone-contract-talks

If he really wants 4 million euro per year, he can get stuffed!

To fair, I think that's what he is worth. But unfortunatly we can't afford to pay those sort of wages. What we have to do is get a transfer fee for him. We can't afford to let him go on a bosman or at a cut price transfer fee. I believe we could get close to €20m for him, Lazio could really do with that sort of money.

Saying all this, I would without a doubt prefer him to stay, he's a wonderfully gifted player and his control of the ball is impeccable.

The link isn't functioning.

Anyway Goran has a contract until 2011. Anything less than 20mill€ for him would be a steal. Just for the record I don't want him to go, but no-one's asking me.

his negotations arent going very well. let us see where this ends up.

Pandev is a great player, when in form. His low is terribly low though. Still, since he came to us, he has not had a complete season without any extreme lows or injuries. I wonder how much we could actually get for him. So far, I have somehow changed my mind from previous times when I thought we shjould sell him. But everyone has a price...so has Pandev...

Actually Lotito said today that after discussions with Goran's agent he is close to an agreement. If he does indeed sign a new contract it will tie him to the club until 2014 and it will see his salary tripled (his current deal is worth 450k per year).

This is a short preview of a special episode of a football TV show on Macedonian TV. It's about Pandev and Lazio. It was filmed in Rome.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CxOxS28eHEo

The full show could be on youtube next week hopefully. If someone records the show at Saturday.

News today all over the wires that Atletico Madrid & Bayern are again "close"?1

"Allegedly" 15-18mil Euro on the table by both teams?

I'm sick and tired of hearing that the signing of his contract is soon. Every week Pavlicino comes out and gives us this diatribe that its soon, were close, were talking with lotito, blah blah blah.

Get the bloody deal done, and lets move on for gods sake!

I am nervous about Pandev. As Kris mentioned, the negotiations are always so long and dire. One says we are close to extending his stay, and the next day another club says they are very close to signing him from so and so. Lotito better sign up Goran. And the price 15-18 million Euros is low I believe.... he is worth more than that!

FORZA GORAN PANDEV!!!!

I will tell you what in Macedonia media is written. Atletico Madrid is going for Pandev and are ready to offer 15 to 18 milion euros. Lotito wants to accept this offer and to sing Zarate contract and to get Palacio from Boca. Like that Pandev will have chance to play in CL and will earn 4 times than now. Lotito is for this deal coz Pandev this summer is worth 3 milion with Article 17 so Lotito is trying to get some money out of him.

THis is not my words but the media speculations.

Let him walk for 18 mil Euros I say.

It is much better than losing him for nothing or for miserable amount of money.

18 million for Pandev is very very little imo, bare in minds, Man City bought De Jong for 17 million pounds (around 19-20 million euros) scratch Pandev certainly worths more than 18 million!!

I would rather keep Pandev, Rocchi isn't getting any younger, while Zarate has yet to be a Lazio player. Lotito must acts quickly, we can't afford to lose him.. if Lotito offered Brocchi 1 million plus, why can't we offer Pandev 1,5 million euro (3 times his current salary)? scratch

If Lotito sells Pandev I will be really pissed off.... and if he tops it off with a very under valued price then I don't know what I will do. That's bullshite!

Out of the strikers currently at Lazio he is, in my opinion, the most valuable for Lazio and it would be a major blow to see him leave us. And not to mention it but getting Palacio to replace him is very risky indeed.

Dammit Lotito give the man the contract he deserves!

All these contract issues lotito is involved in is just to much for the team and the players...nothing is ever dealt with as it should be...for how long have we heard that Goran wants to stay, and that a contract is soon to be signed...? How long will he wait? If a good deal comes up, I am afraid Goran will leave...

I doubt he would move to Bayern, haven't they just signed that guy Olic? Atletico has too much attackers Forlan, Aguero, Sinama Pongolle.. they're all very good.
