Interesting news about the mafia.

Now what? Lets move forward and hope to see us challenge the top 4 slots. We need to make it to the champions league but the current squad finally is looking promising.

Mafia money would have been good. Lotito could have cleaned it with his laundery business and turn dirty money laundery to clean money laundery. Very Happy

Lazio received 'Mafia bid' Tuesday 22 July, 2008

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Authorities in Italy have suggested that an organised crime group tried to buy Lazio using former President Giorgio Chinaglia as a third party.

The Biancocelesti have been struggling for funds and it has now emerged that representatives from the Camorra – a Neapolitan crime gang – planned to buy the club.

The group allegedly plotted to act through former Lazio player and chief Chinaglia.

In 2006, current Aquile chief Claudio Lotito was placed under police protection because of threats from Ultras who wanted him to sell the club to Chinaglia’s consortium.

Chinaglia had claimed at the time of the bid that he had been representing Hungarian pharmaceuticals group Richter Gedeon, but the company denied any knowledge.

The 61-year-old denies any wrongdoing and the investigation is ongoing.

ridicolo ce sarai!

why don't you report the words of the Digos' Chief Giannini, who said that "at the moment there is no evidence that the fans knew where the money was coming from"?

the time where people can vomit on the fans is about to end. We'll see, then, those who stand up, and those who will have to give their apologies.[/quote]

NOT IN STYLE WITH OUR RULES ?

In the past you let the people divide the Lazio fans with impossible histories and let the "fans" attack the only person that saved Lazio from the failure and mafia.

THE BILL IS COMING !

Use now the banner "Lotito vattene"

La S.S.Lazio comunica che nella giornata odierna è stata superata quota 13.000 abbonamenti venduti.....

Grazie Claudio Lotito
You have won also here !!

Buy only original merchandising...let them disappear....

,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Maybe i am wrong and i accept critics from everyone but you can't accuse me , Ermetico, to be the one that want fans to be divided!
I have been recognized even in the city to be one that aimed only to keep fans united.

I have my personal thoughts on Lotito and i always declared that I DON'T LIKE AND DON'T ACCEPT Lotito behaviour and style versus all supporters.

In the other side i let with my mods anyone to talk about everything in this forum but, when messages are offensive against one or other part, i invite everyone to go straight in the dedicated forums: So , please aim your messages in the IRR forum or in LazioNet.

Here i am tryng to keep peace and interest about the Team and , my logo my motto OUR MOTTO, is the answer.

So far i got no BILL to pay to anyone.

Grazie

Some bill is coming for sure... though be careful, because it could disappoint you.

1) The Irriducibili - Your hate for the Irriducibili brought you to celebrate for something (the latest enquiry, which led to the new custody determination) that could be very important to prove their innocence.
2) Chinaglia - His behaviour, more than the charges moved against him, is very upsetting. Personally, I think we should wait the end of the process before accusing him to being colluded with the Camorra.
3) Lotito - Thanks for bringing us down, thanks for destroying the stadium atmosphere, thanks for your decision to exploit Lazio to your own interest, thanks for making yourself the laughing stock of all italian fans. Grazie claudio, grazie.

We will remain united. There never was a split between fans. You cannot accuse Ermetico for creating a split. He has always let every fan post their thoughts, whether or not they like Lotito or hate Lotito.

Please go to another forum if you wish to falsley accuse one of the founders of this forum.

Next subject.......

Lotito is a baffoon. He is a retarded man with a pot full of millions. I think he doesnt know the meaning of having a close relationship with the fans. The fans are the one that are bringing revenue for the club so if LOTITO wants to alienate himself with the fans, then Lotito should stop complaining about not having enough fans pack the stadium.

Do I need to spell it out for him?

Anyways, we will wait for the full untold story and then we can make judgement on what was right, and what was wrong.

I find it rather cheap to accuse Lotito of the bad atmosphere in the stadium. Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't he come and save our Lazio, only to find himself attacked by the Irriducibili for no good reason (well, for money reasons) - with a shitty atmosphere as a result of that, with the man being accused of every single thing that has gone wrong the past year as a result of that?

That he is not close to the fans, well boo-hoo, welcome to the 21st century, where football is no more or no less than one huge (money)business, and as far as I'm concerned Lotito has made Lazio a good, positive business again, with a future, with a present. He's a retarded man you say, conceicao14, a bloody clever one then I'd say, no? One that has given a future to this club again, to the first team in Rome, the one that brought football to the capital.

Don't get me wrong, I understand people when they say this man is not 'Lazialita' to the bone, or at all, but come one - can you give him a break? He saved our club, for that he deserves some respect I would think, no? This negative thinking, this never ending Lotito bashing, all started for nothing, and has been building up with both Italian and non-Italian Laziali going absolutely mental about it and about the man - with I would say about 90 percent not knowing why exactly. Sad I find it, very, very sad.

On topic then, let's wait for further details from the trial, there's no point in making accusations or drawing conclusions now.

I don’t know why ppl just through every thing at lotitio he is a pure BUSINESS MAN

If any one knows what businessman mean … in any organization it mean fixing the balance book its not an easy task to do that there will be so much pain when any company try to do that many of there fav staff would be laid off many of the good things that the staff has would be taken away from them and that’s what happened with lotito almost every player that Lazio had left expt inzaghi and if he got a better offer he would be long goon Lazio is going through a hard change if you look into pure money lotito is trying to build a strong profitable organization that can feed it self on its own and slowly build on that he need a sold income now the fact that he run the team on his own ….. I agree with that coz it is his money and his risk ...

just give him another 4y and lazio will be one of the top 4 teams in italy and will stay there for a long time

Exactly, I think people find a vent in Lotito....
I can understand that he is unpopular, but it is ridiculous this ongoing , prolonged process of accusing the man after every single step or decision.

I try to not interferee in this conversation because i already spoke too much about it in my country and i try to avoid more arguments with my friends in this forum but , sometimes , i need to point on some situations.
One is the fact that many accused Lotito for the bad atmoshpere and the lack of supporters in the stadium:
I don't agree with that because i , personally, don't let others to decide about my choice.
I go to the stadium or i support Lazio since Maestrelli up Longo Baraldi management and i can't forget Calleri or other Presidents during that periods.
No matter what who was in command i was there.
The fact is that the media, the radios' the daily tam tam against Lotito against or Pro Curva Nord, or Tevere or pro Lotito or against Lotito, the psicholigal war create all this.
We , supporters, with our fragile minds with all the problems occured in the past and present time without ( Lotito fault in this case) a real and strong management we suffered and destroy our faith and credo.
We have been rumbled by bad news everyday!
We were ready to disappear to be squashed by a any mosquito fliyng over our head.
Then we had people arrested and people killed then we had squads without leaders then we had then not.,...
The fact , Conn, is that we are kids without a fateher without a certain road to follow ( Not just Lotito) and we are searching to discharge our personal emotions against one person( for sure he is a problem) but we never accept to say :maybe it is also my fault.

That means the IRR guys (Fabrizio and Toflo..etc) will be back as long as they where not aware about where the money comes from.

I see it is impossible for IRR and Lotito making good relationships, it is like Lazio and Riomma merged togather.

I agree with Milk Man, Lotito is a pure Business Man, but he is not a leader. A lot of irriducibilli members and Lazio fans hated lotito's management policy so much. It is a human being nature, they want to see results but cannot wait. Well Lotito gave us so much promises since he took over Lazio. But all what we saw so far is failure after failure especially last season's campaign was one of the worst Lazio years.

I just want to know what exactly do Lazio fans want, to replace lotito?? who will be the replacement will he be better than Lotito?? Maybe he will make it for one or two years, then what??

Lotito is making long term plans he has a vision, but what is the planning horizon, after how many years he will achieve his vision. for the present all what he cares about is to survive financially and not to be relegated, but what is his future plans?? no one knows.

Football these years is one of the toughest challenges anyone could take. Would the money solve the problem?? it did for Chelsea in the premier league, now Chelsea is one of the biggest teams in the world. Lotito is not that rich I believe he is a smart planner. Yes I hated him last year for his failed campaign but I believe that all the fans will thank him one day.

So we have to be patient that is what we need to do.

"Sputa a Lotito". Toffolo: "Gliela levamo a lui, gliela levamo a lui".

well, at least someone did understood something in two years. You, however, did not, even in so much time Very Happy . The story you posted is two years old, and is not related to the recent judges determinations...

You didn't change, jump. Still the same hate, still the same messy posts, still the same partialities. You forgot to say that the four IRR guys have been kept in jail since October 2006 without a process!

Ah... one last thing. You forgot to report all the phone calls involving lotito... For instance, what about the one where he says he is buying an house for the Digos police number 2 officer? What about the one where he talks about his police captain friend? I didn't translate that stuff... I prefer to wait, but perhaps you can enlighten us with some of your posts.

I think I've written this two hundred times... but perhaps I should say it once more.

Obviously, I completely respect people like Lucky Strike who identify lotito as their saviour and hero, like the one that has given us a future and so on and so forth. The world is nice because people are different.

However, i have a problem if people tell me my point is a "cheap accuse". Lotito got the majority of Lazio shares because he was "forced" to swap his credits he had from Regione Lazio, through Capitalia. He did not want to buy Lazio off. He took Lazio only for his own profit. He does not care about the club. He does not care about the fans. He wants to exploit Lazio in order to get the destination of use of his lands in the tiberina area changed, and build a quarter of Rome with his friend Mezzamerda. Lotito exploited the fans in order to get the deal with the Agenzia delle Entrate, and afterwards betrayed them. Lotito brought Lazio one step close to the annihilation.
When you can prove all these statements wrong, please come and say that it's cheap accusing lotito. Until then, please respect our feelings, as we respect yours.

Ciao e forza LAZIO.

No hard feelings Conn, I respect your opinion and I find it positive that we can discuss about this without shouting and fighting. We are all Laziali above all, we share the same passion, we love the same colours and badge.

However, here's what I think about this whole Lotito issue.

First of all, you didn't read what I say. I said I find it rather cheap to accuse Lotito of the bad atmosphere in the stadium. In my opinion there are many other reasons for that bad atmosphere, and I think that some groups of fans are to blame here as well, to quite a large extent really.

I do see Lotito as the saviour of Lazio, and I think I have my reasons to do so. Lazio was left behind without money, with a huge debt, with little or no players, a very sick animal - Lotito changed that. He fixed our loans over 23 years if I'm not wrong, and started buying players like Rocchi, Di Canio, Behrami, and so on, in other words he gave us a future again. If this is for his own benefit, for his own profit, well so be it - the only thing I care about is that he makes this Lazio healthy and strong again, and as far as I can tell he is doing that. If he would not care about this club, like you say, I don't see why he would spend all his precious time in Lazio, why he would fly around the world to get new talented players. If he would not care about the fans, like you say, I don't see why he would let young people come to the matches for little or no money, why he would invest in new shops with amazing merchandise, why he would have all these promotions for our fans. If you are talking about what has been happening the past year between Irriducibili and the man himself, I gladly repeat myself - not only him is to blame, far from it. This situation of hate, of dislike, of ridiculous accusations - this hype if you want - was started for very sad and bad reasons and very óther reasons than the 'he does not care about this club' trap you get to hear sometimes. Am I wrong? I don't think so.

You talk about Lotito like he is the one and only reason why Lazio is not now what it once was, and that disturbs me. For me, there are many other reasons here. The Irriducibili, for one, who started this whole fight against Lotito for very sad reasons, with half of the foreign Lazio fans hating Lotito and not knowing why exactly as a result. Chinaglia, second, who betrayed his own fans, the Irriducibili - okay, we don't know this for sure, but the way you talk about Lotito with so many certainties, I don't think I should care too much about how to form my phrases. The other fans, who in my opinion took over the Lotito hype too easily, blaming him for everything, right or wrong, involved or not. The bad results, for which I also blame Rossi, the death of Gabriele, the negative spiral in which we've been stuck for months.

Anyway, this is what I think. I do agree with you about the four leaders in jail being ridiculous - as they are not guilty of anything (yet).

Ofcourse he is going to spend all his time with the club making investments and signing good players and trying to get on with the fans regardless of whether he loves the club or doesn't. The facts speak he owns the majority share so in order for him to make money he has to do all those things.

What are all these "very sad reasons" you keep talking about for the fans hating Lotito? Btw, i'm not having a go, i'm just curious.

Oh right, ok. That must be damn annoying for him then, having to travel around the world looking for talented players to come to Lazio in order to make money for himself. Oh wait, for the club. Oh wait, we're still paying debts for the next 23 years. Oh wait, trap.

The reasons had to do with their business as far as I know, and Lotito's arrival that was threatening that business.
