You are definitely not alone. I can not understand, why everyone is talking that his skills sucks. When did you see that ?
He join us barely last year , and most of the time he spent out because of severe injury.
When he was on the pitch , he in my opinion was far better than Mudingayi or Manfredini.
He has great character , he managed to score some really precious goals for us in the right time. How many players in Lazio can boast themselves of something like that.
I think he is undervalued from coach Rossi. Coach Rossi has his favorites and he is looking only towards them. For example Mauri, despite whether he is in good shape or not he is a starter.Totally different is for players like Firmani. I really don't like this attitude, which continues till now. No
I am really curios in which games did you see Firmani poor skills, because I haven't seen such things at all.

I agree with Usampa.

Firmani is a real fighter, and he was one who did the dirty work. He did not try the delightful defence splitting passes, he kept it simple and brute. With all due respect to Mudingayi, Firmani is a better choice technically than him. Against Juve, Mudingayi's poor ball control and decision cost us dearly. Firmani works tirelessly and doesn't mind a backup role in Lazio, no reason why we should sell him. An unnoticed asset to Lazio.

It would be a sad day if Firmani leaves Lazio.

Let us also remember the important goals he scored during the season, and him celebrating in front of la Curva with the Gabriele Sandri banner.

Fabio's passion is very rare in these modern days, and isnt something money can buy.

With both Muta and Mudy gone, he will also get more of a chance to play football this year.

Is it true that he is trying to rescind his contract ala Pandev? He's on a pretty good salary (0,6 mills per season) so getting him off the books would be great. Anyone have any info on this? I mean without Lazio he would be in Serie C probably so not really a good move financially.

From what I've read (translated) it seems they are trying to set up a date for him to present his case. Bonneto and Pandev will be witnesses...
As you say, whatever happens he needs offloading! Manfre has been here 6 years too long and I'm sure there could have been an amicable decision made long ago, it would have been in everyones best interests to pay him off a bit and let him go, heck someone must have once EXTENDED his contract for goodness sake drunken
Ciao Manfre cheers

Manfredini is still a Lazio player. The court ordered Lazio to return him to the first team and pay an 80,000 euro fine.

Manfre wasn't suing for a contract rescission.

He can now buy a decent enough second hand Bentley with that money to add to his collection cheers jocolor

So they "ordered" him back into the squad, surely we know from experience that it is down to the coaches "technical choice" who is in that squad Wink

He knew he was on too much of a good thing to get his (seemingly endless) contract rescinded, huge wages compared to some first team regulars and a president who cares for him like a son.
Plus I suppose there is always the lure of being involved in Makipizza.

Welcome back sonny... drunken

Stop with that smelling as! He missed the penalty but that wont make me hate him. Rocchi has made a ton of misses from the white spot but do we hate him about that ? NO! Floccari gave a lot to the team this season and deserves some respect.

Why the hell is the Pizza Guy getting discussed in the octupus thread? The pizza guy has his own thread.

This is about the octopus haired Sistori Mandfredini the Somalian/Burundian winger or wherever this guy was born.
