to all members: It seems that some of you are having problems with using the design, this could be language related or simply that some of you don't have MS Paint or Adobe Photoshop. This is not a problem, if you have yet to find a way to use the design, contact me and show me your tactic using a drawing or diagram and I will post it here for you. In the meantime, if anybody knows of any other programs that the design can be used with, please inform me of them and I will post them here. Thank you.

rikk has provided me with two tactics to present to you.

This is the tactic rikk believes Rossi will use:

This is the tactic rikk would like to see used:

what do you guys think? both are very interesting formations, the absence of Rocchi is intriguing, but Zarate and Rocchi is sure to be a tough call.

Whatever the tactic, we must play with 4 at the back.

I agree, I don't like to play with only three defenders. And Kolarov - Radu - Rozehnal - De Silvestri is a dream Very Happy But I have a feeling Rossi won't drop both Cribari and Siviglia, unfortunately.

Is an interesting site Mr Abel but i prefer that LazioFever could offer a nice section too without many links...
Hope u understand my point of view.

PostSubject: Re: Tactics   Wed Aug 06, 2008 5:12 am

attention all members:

As you may or may not know, myself and usampa are working on a "professional" tactics topic for the beginning of the new season.

As you have already seen, the tactics plot is central to this topic. The design of the plot is being improved and if you have any suggestions as to how you would like to see the design improved please contact me as soon as possible. You are the guys who will be contributing so your opinion would be nice.

Please understand that once we have the design in place, we also want to make sure everyone is comfortable with it and using it. We would hope that we would not have to change the design once we begin the new topic, at least not for a while, so if you want to see something in the design, we need you to tell us now.

Also, if you want to use the plot in the future, please try it out and see if you have any problems and if you do, let me know. We don't want to put a design in place that everybody is unable to use, so your feedback is crucial to making this topic a success.

Thanks.

Emko cheers
Looks solid, I like that Meghni is there, we would be very dangerous in the middle that way....

good tactic Emko!

always very interesting when somebody throws something different in the mix and Meghni is a particularly interesting selection.

Meghni is someone who could really step up this year and he would be very effective in this position.

Emko, you have placed Pandev and Zarate in wider positons than the majority of us, but you've also given me an idea for a formation.

Carrizo

Lichtsteiner - Radu - Rozehnal - Kolarov

FERNANDEZ - Ledesma - Matuzalem

Foggia - Pandev

Zarate

or

Carrizo

Lichtsteiner - Radu - Rozehnal - Kolarov

Foggia - Ledesma - Matuzalem - Meghni

Pandev - Zarate

The first formation allows both Pandev and Foggia to play behind Zarate and use their creativity in the best possible way. No Mauri!

The second is a classic 4-4-2 with wingers in Foggia on the right and Meghni on the left. This formation would allow very offensive movement from the flanks (Kolarov - Meghni and Lichsteiner - Foggia).

We should play like this I think, Foggia over Matuzalem if he does a better job. Im not totally convinced if Matuzalem will be a good signing.

I think that's quickly becoming the general favourite formation LofL, the issue is going to be how you get the best out of that forward 3 and is Kolarov good enough at LB.

ok now that Rocchi is injured , how do u guys see this is going to be ?

the way i see it : iam its gonna stay 4-3-3 , so definitely 3 strikers

1- Rossi trusts Makinwa

And the formation will be

--------------------------Makinwa

----------Zarate--------------------------------Pandev

2- Rossi Prefers to play Pandev as CF and foggia in his place

---------------------------Pandev

----------zarate----------------------------foggia

Okay, in the last two matches we have played 4-3-2-1 and if we continues with that I'd like to see this formation:

Carrizo

De Silvestri - Rozehnal - Radu - Kolarov

Dabo - Ledesma - Matuzalem

Pandev - Foggia

Rocchi

Now when Rocchi is injured Zarate will take his place. This is just for a beginning and then of course it depends on how the players perform.
