due to what seems to be a split of opinion on other threads, quite simply, should he leave now or not, yes or no.

yes - if you think he should go
no - if you think he should stay

If he really is the way like the media says, then he should be gone tomorow! No players like that deserves to play with our colours.

we dont have space in the squad for these kind of attitudes. Lazio 1st, the question is will we have enough time to find a replacement if he leaves.

As much as I have liked Ledesma and had full confidence in achieving at Lazio when he arrived from Lecce I think it is best for him to go now rather than lose him cheaply or free at the end of the season. If reports are true and indeed he is not happy at Lazio and is causing friction and a bad atmosphere in the dressing room then he should leave. Lazio do not need this. It is sad that this is happening but it happens and as many others have stated - no player is bigger than the club!

I've always like Ledesma, a very solid and skilled player. But he's made it clear that he won't re-enter negotiations and that he'll be leaving us next season. We should sell him now while we can still make money from a deal for him.

I said yes, because I think there is no more another way.... I'm sorry for that, but this is a reality now... If Lotito thinked more about renewals.......... Every serious club think first on important player renewals after season end and than about new signings.... But for Lotito it isn't case...

Yes... but only with the right price... it shouldn't be lesser than 18 million euro, 12 + a prospective young player like Pele of Inter is recommended...

don't sell him cheaply! he is still going to be useful for us... maybe if we have a really good season somehow he will change his mind and the situation will completely change.. one year is quite a long time.. an enough time to change someone's mind, a lot can happen at that time... I'd say we should be patient.. but this is only if Lotito doesn't receive any good offer of course..

But we should note that, with or without him, we should find his replacement immediately! a young and talented one is recommended because we already have the experience matuzalem and dabo

Sell him, we don't need mercenaries..

Ask for straight swap with Banega or Lassana Diarra from Portsmouth..

12 million euro plus Pele would also be good, we could use that money to get another CB or increase the salary caps

Act quick lotito, as for Ledesma dissapointing No

Sell him for 20 million euros. But instead Inter, sell him to Spain.

NO. Why not:
1. He deserves bigger salary.
2. He is practically unreplacable at the current (unfortunately only) Rossi's tactics.
3. It is too late to find replacement.
4. Even if adequate replacement is found, is is doubtfull whether he can fit into our game in such short time.

In this bussiness there is no place for hard feelings. I do not want to say that his way of communicating through media is good, but I am saying that if Lazio could answer to his salary demands, I think that things could improve and see good old Ledesma back.
Lotito is complaining how Behrami have blackmailed him, but he doesn't see that he is doing the same with Ledesma, plus I do not consider fair treatment of Mutarelli.

the more and more i give this thought i am starting to believe we should not get rid of him. at this point it will be very hard to find a good replacement for him. the only player i saw as a natural replacement was luca cigarini and hes at atalanta now...too bad this fucker didnt annouce his departure earlier

Everything depends on if it is true he doesnt intent to stay for longer, how much we could get and what we could replace him with...if the deal is right, let him go; the major problem is how we will be able to adapt to a game without him considering how important he is to our game...

You are right but.....
1) It is not about he deserves a better salary or not it is about the fact that he does not want to wait to negotiate a new contract.
2)We can get Stancovic plus we have so many creative midfielders in form such as Meghni, Mauri and Foggia who can invent football.
3)We still have a one-month-transfermarket-window.
4)We can get Stancovic who knows the city and the club and will fit in rapidly.

I believe that the problem with Ledesma was due to his agent forcing a move. Lotito has asked for patience and his agent has given a deadline. If I was president, I would have done what he did.. simply ignore such things. I am a President of a club and you are an agent.. who are you to give me deadlines?

Anyways, the rumors are its 5 million for Ledesma plus Stankovic and a one year loan of Pele.
