i'm interested to see how many people say no...I would welcome him back even if there may be better options out there, but I know there will be some that don't.

I'd take him in a flash, he will score goals. But only for the right price, that is the most important thing.

This guy was worth millions of euro only a few years ago!! now we're getting a chance to have him for free!! even though we still have to pay his wage for 4 millions of euro, i think it's still a good deal.. but of course we have to think about the balance on the team, it will be not fair for the other players if Lotito pay him far more than the other players...

So, I really hope that Hernan wants to cut his salary into only 1/3 of his wage now, maybe it can be made more interested with the bonus offers, for example: if he could score more than 15 goals then he'll get another 200.000 euro, if Lazio get into CL he gets another 100.000, if Lazio scudetto affraid he gets 1 million more!!! cheers

No, I can't believe that some guys think that he has Lazialitą , he switches every year from team. He's never loyal, to any football club.

Though I voted that I would welcome back Crespo the bomber. I am in two minds about this. On one hand, Crespo would be an excellent replacement for Crespo, he knows where he is in the box and would be a different type of striker compared to Pandev, Rocchi, Zarate and even Makinwa for that matter. A poacher, a lurker, one who pounces on mistakes and punishes the opponents.

On the other hand, I would like opportunities given to Mendicino and Kozak. The former scored a wrongly disallowed goal against Liverpool, and I hope we can give opportunities to this youngsters to make their break.

With all that being said, I would be for the idea of Crespo coming if it is within our wage budget and only for a season.

he might not be loyal, but he has represented every club well and if he comes back to Lazio, make no mistake he will do his job to score goals and do it well.

I would welcome him back. I wouldn't say he's a Laziale, he's just a professional who does the job whoever he plays for. Remember though he did reject Roma because of his loyalty to Lazio a few years ago, so that's worth some brownie points!

i dont see a reason why not to accept him back? he left professionally and since then he gave 100 % to every team he played for so i hardly believe he'll flop.

If he deliver, why not? Even if he scored a lot for us in the past, he never won anything for us and we gave away such players like Almeyda and Conceicao for him. I'll never forget that. No scratch

I agree man.... he will do well wherever he goes and whatever his age. He is a natural born finisher and has given the club he has represented everything he has every season no matter what his opportunities have been like or his fitness. For such a reason I am more than happy to see him again in a Lazio shirt.

Crespo Deal Falls Through

Argentine striker Hernan Crespo's supposed move to Lazio seems to be getting further and further away...
Lazio were in the hunt for Crespo after club President Claudio Lotito admitted his interest and Inter allegedly considered him surplus to requirements at the San Siro. However, the deal appears less and less likely as Crespo's wages and the transfer fee are providing a stumbling block for the Biancocelesti.

It has been suggested that the problem lies more with Lotito, as the Nerazzurri would be willing to let Crespo leave as Jose Mourinho have significant cover in that position in the form of Adriano, Julio Cruz, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and David Suazo. However, the Lazio president has set certain financial parameters that he is not prepared to exceed to bring the Argentine back to the Olimpico.

However, Tomasso Rocchi's injury will require the Biaconcelesti pursue another attacker and they have shortlisted Albanian Erjon Bogdani on the advice of his veteran compatriot Igli Tare.

The striker currently at Chievo, has been around Serie A's smaller sides before. He has made notable contributions at both Siena and Reggina in the recent past and his best season was with Hellas Verona in Serie B where he scored 17 goals.

It would likely take €3 - €4million to bring the tall Albanian to the Stadio Olimpico.

Exactly as I thought, Tare's advice.

No thanks, solid player but we don't need a striker!!! Rocchi is only out for a month at most. Even if you don't believe in Makinwa, we still have Zarate, Kozak and Mendicino, we could even change the formation and put Meghni or Foggia in there. Why bring in a striker for a year to replace Rocchi for a month...? It's why we shouldn't even consider Crespo.
