I think this will die down. Same with Amoruso and Pinzi's news. Do you realize that almost all the transfer that actually happen are the ones we did not hear at all or only hear near the end?

yes, exactly howie, it's because I believe Lotito has been putting back up deals in place and when he finds the man he wants, he signs him. We only hear what Lotito wants us to.

Why not ? We still need another striker because of Rocchi's and Zarate's injuries ... Makinwa sucks so we have just Pandev and I'm not too sure that Rossi will use Mendicino and Kozak ...

I will still hold onto hope......until the closing minutes of the transfer window.

He has always been one of my favourite Lazio strikers. (Along side Beppe of course)!

I too am remaining hopeful and I do think Inter and Lazio can strike a deal but for me I think it will depend on Crespo and whether or not he is keen to come back to Lazio for a reduced salary and no European football this season. I read somewhere that he is happy at Inter and does not want to leave there. But I don't think Mourinho sees him as part of his plans so that is the only way I see him coming here - if pushed out.

did you see how he didn't celebrate out of respect for Lazio and the club he cherishes?

I didn't either...

I said no, not welcome originally then I changed my mind a little but thanks Weninho for putting my mind at ease. He's not welcome.

After watching that and remembering I am not so sure anymore. He is definitely a class player but he showed no respect for Lazio at all after he scored that goal. Reminded me of Nedved in season 2004/05 when he struck the winner for Juventus against us at the Stadio. Celebrated like he did not even care it was the club that made him who he is today.

From his agent Fernando Hidalgo: "A move in January? Hernan has always liked Roma, and when he was at Chelsea he was very close to Roma,”

Aren't we glad we didn't get him!!!!!!!

He has been dropped from Inter Milan's UCL squad by Mourinho, along with Dacourt and Samuel!

He realises he is not a part of Jose's plans but does not want to leave and apparently is keen to stay on the bench.... from a goal.com article.

I don't see why shouldn't we sign Samuel if he is kicked off Inter...

Samuel is fitness related, same situation with Nesta at Milan...we think. Nesta being dropped at Milan caught the media unaware.

Nesta is off the UEFA list only for the first round, in the group stage he will be back. As I said before, Crespo is a football whore and for the money he'll play almost everywhere. So him being linked with le merde is not a big shock. Screw him.

I thought the UEFA Cup list covered the first round and the group stage and that is why the media was stunned because they expected him to be fit before February.

The list should cover both the upcoming round and the group stage as the final knock-out stage is part of the UEFA cup and not only considered qualification (did that make sense..?). Would be nice if someone could find out, just interesting to know...

Regarding Crespo, did you guys see him celebrate after the SuperCoppa game? During the penalty shooting he was, at least for the crowd and Mourinho to see, the most nervous player. And then when it was time for celebrations he celebrated as if he had scored a brace in a 2-1 victory in the CL finals or similar. Weird guy thsi Crespo.

Well, he played for Inter, then Milan and then Inter again. Not to mention that he played for us and now wants to join merda. Vieri is an angel compared to him.
