i am sorry, but that's just stupid...that's VERY stupid. We don't have the power of Palermo - a countryside team that saw what serie A is a couple of years ago, and Lazio - the team of the capital, doesn't have their power? I think you need to do some research on serie A mate.
You're doing everything to justify Lotito's actions, and if the time comes, you will even say that we don't have the muscle of Sampdoria, Udinese and Atalanta..cause that's what you're thinking now, isn't it?

Why do slag other teams? Palermo-a countryside team? Whatever, the point is Zamparini has money. Juve, Inter and Milan don't make any profit, they just throw cash around like no tomorrow. I think UEFA should bring in a rule to minimise club spending , something like you cannot spend more than 100% of your revenue, or maybe a little more like 110%. That would even things out a bit.
Sicily is a countryside, you can ask even Sicilians. Zamparini with his supermarkets chain cannot have more than la Lazio.

Milan spends Berlusconi's money, whereas Juventus FIAT's. With the financial crisi hitting the car companies, I very much doubt Juventus will spend a lot this summer. Moratti has his own money from his oil business. Meanwhile, Inter is the club that spends reasonably.
Della Valle of Fiorentina is a powerful man, but all he has is a clothing company. In fact, Sampdoria may have more money than Fiorentina.

P.S. There was a ranking a couple of months ago of the richest clubs in the world? You know where Lazio was? 20th. So, shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I don't wanna hear any tales about Lazio being poor from no one on this forum. Therefore, I am very much looking forward to the summer transfer window

Eh.........................It's actually a ranking for turnover! You know what turnover is???? It's got nothing to do with how rich you are! So shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.........

There are many definitions of rich.

If we assume that the debt is a non-current liability, then obviously the bigger the working capital (current assets-current liabilities), the "richer the club. I assume that's the way they calculated it without considering our long-term debt, which by the way, doesn't really harm us that much, as we're ought to pay some low amount of money in the course of 25 years (well, now in fact 20 years,i.e. 5 years have passed). That was a great deal achieved by Lotito, and it's one of the very few times when I respected him.

Correct.

Also, if you read what Lotito said, he generates 26 million in profit a season. If this is the case, then the majority of our profit will be spent on Zarate and then we need to sell to recuperate it as some of that profit has to go towards paying off our debt and the multitude of other facets that will improve our club.

Juve, Inter etc. are probably in way more debt than us but the fact is, if FIAT goes bust, if Moratti goes bust, if Berlusconi goes bust, there will always be some other moneybags to bail them out. Didn't you see the long queue that formed when we went bust? That's right, there wasn't one, becuase nobody was prepared to take on the magnitude of the task that lay ahead; rebuilidng a mid-table Serie A side. That's all we've ever been aside from maybe one tenth to a twentieth of our history. That's the reality and that's where we're at now.

I can understand why people dislike Lotito but not those who feel he is not getting results on the pitch. That's baloney, even with a billionaire owner, we still couldn't expect to win trophies year in year out.

It's the on field results where Lotito has excelled, it's his attitude towards the fans and the traditions of the club that blot his CV. This season has been a colossal success on the field. Winning a trophy is not something we achieve easily. We are in a position to build on this so let's build on it, let's wait until we dramatically decline before we decide how bad a businessman Lotito is. Becuase I really can't see how anybody can draw that conclusion on the basis of our performances on the pitch. I really can't.

I am Italian, so yeah I can speak the lingo thanks. I find it hilarious how you can believe that a club with over 200m in debt can be the 20th richest club in the world! Jeez, I have an overdraft at the bank, I must be one the richest men in the UK!

The fact that Pandev's leaving is another example of Lotito's failure...especially after he announced that Rossi's staying. Pandev's the first to understand that the ship is sinking.

Pandev played this whole season without his usual passion and heart. The time is right for him to leave and Lotito won't beg him.

Jeez, if some girl dumped me, would I beg for her to stay with me? No.

We can sell Pandev for a mini-fortune and find an adequate replacement. There isno sinking ship.

Lets not forget, we are still a big club and thats why I do not understand why we cannot make much revenue as we should be doing. Did anyone watch the copa italia final? Did anyone see a few years back Lazio v Real Madrid CL? The fans were electric and everyone was amazed. A large majority of fans are waiting to come back but it seems Lotito is an obstical. When it mattered, fans came back to support their club but not on lotito terms.

I certainly do not have hatred towards Lotito. Its just the way he alienates himself towards other people is rather ridicilous.

I wish to see 50,000 - 60,000 season tick holders. We need to push our team forward next season.

I know some fans do not even want to buy any of the new merchandise because Lotito has his marks on it. As soon as he goes, it might be a little bit different. Yes I am happy the club is running in a stable manner but come on, we need to increase revenue.

Zarate is a lucky catch for Lotito. He is very lucky indeed. I just hope Lotito treats Zarate with respect and every other player as we need them to stay focus on our team.

I think its time to sleep , very tired Sleep

I'm afraid you're overreaching. Yes, Lazio is a big club, but Leeds United once was as well, catch my drift? The comparison might seem ridiculous, but you know what I mean. We do not have that kind of muscle. Is Lotito to blame for that, or perhaps the past presidents, it's only a matter of how you want to look at it - and to what extent you want to follow the mass, or have your own ideas. When I see people on this forum write 'Lotito vattene' and 'Delio vattene' on the day after we won the Coppa Italia, it really makes me wonder. It's, sadly enough, generally speaking those exact same people who are shouting about the infamous 'Lazialita'. Again, I wonder. When Lotito brings in Brocchi, he's a bastard, because he's too old. Brocchi has proven to be very important to the team - but everyone now shuts their mouth. Lotito gave us the amazing Zarate - but now apparently (suddenly) it was a lucky guess. Ok, so what exactly are we discussing about here?! Some people tend to have (without having a clue in reality) some kind of hatred against Lotito. Fair enough, everyone has their opinion, as long as we all support Lazio, but come on - at times it really seems ridiculous.

I dont understand why people attack Lotito over the way he has built this team. It cannot be done any better.

Lotito has his problems, the way he deals with the Curva, his relationship with the tifosi, the way he has driven away or refused to sign many people who have Lazio at heart, but as far as hius business and the on-pitch stuff goes, it can't be any better for a club in our situation.

Look at Napoli and Fiorentina, they were bailed out by rich owners, people with more money than Lotito. Since they returned to Serie A (notice that their rich owners did nothing to stop them sinking to the 4th division), how many titles have they won??? I rest my case.

Claudio Lotito Not Clear About Delio Rossi's Future At Lazio

The Biancocelesti have won their first trophy in years this season, but this has not yet guaranteed Rossi's stay at the club.

Lazio president Claudio Lotito admitted that his club's short-term future depends on a lot of variables which right now have a big question mark over them.

The Biancocelesti's objective is to become a very competitive side with the least amount of expenditure possible, but Lotito is cautious about his goal.

"There is no certainty about tomorrow, it's too early to give comprehensive answers," observed the Lazio president to Sportmediaset.it.

"There's a project, an evaluation and a time of completion of the programme. I must understand if the club is able to complete some conditions in the requested times, like for example some sales, and this is not a secondary component.

"It's neither an issue which can be liquidated from today to tomorrow."

Lotito then spoke about the future of coach Delio Rossi.

"Our coach has proved to have the right professionalism," he continued. "Now we must start again with a new project and verify if there are the conditions to complete it."

The 49-year-old coach has been at Lazio since 2005, following his move from Atalanta, and during these four years with the Biancocelesti he has obtained some prestigious results, including qualification for the Champions League and a Coppa Italia trophy this season.

Cragnotti: "Lotito farÓ tornare grande la Lazio"

Our ex-president has spoken on the radio.

He compliments the President for setting a clear goal, but this should be seen as a springboard towards other important results. He compliments Rossi, all players and Lotito who are all doing all they can to create the future Lazio.

Lotito - players and stuff out of club cuz of him: Di Canio, Peruzzi, Macheda, De Silvestri, Pandev, ...Ledesma,...
and he keep Serie B players and stuff like: Manfredini, Bonneto,...Del Nero....Tare....

he lost pure profit of over 10-20mil eur for Pandev and Ledesma (just because of his poor attitude)

and i don't even like to start about Macheda case....

next players to go out of club:

Kolarov - im 101% sure that he will go out of Lotito's Lazio next year (most because of his silly salary od 250k per year)

Zarate - 99.9% - maybe this year he will become one of the best strikers in the world and Lotito dosent have any ability to be his president...

....when ill think about our players age and ability of some....i dont see bright future with Lotito....just think who will play in Lazio next year or the year after...
