sorry to bother you once gain.

but i got some questions in spanish learning.

in my textbook, one sentence is written as follow:

Mi esposa es funcionaria. Su Oficina esta en el centro de la ciudad. Esta cera de mi casa.

-----------------

it mentions esposa in the sentence, which means wife, and i also remember that "su" means his, so how can the book use the word "su" there.

---------------

Question #2

how do you pronounce the letter "v" and "b"?

i know some rules...but, ok, for example, the word "vida", it should sound like "veeda" not "beeda", right?

and what about the Valencia CF and its striker Villa. Should they be the same, like, Valen not Balen, and VeeYa not BeeYa.

thank you in advance.

I think that "su" is for both human features of 3rd person singular (he and she).

The v and b is a bit tricky...some of my Spanish spekaing friends pronounces all V as B, while others do pronounce it differently...the same goes for the ll - sometimes as a simple Y and sometimes as a lj sound...

Probably did not help, but at least I spent a few minutes thinking of my spanish... Surprised

It's different depending on dialect. I know that in Barcelona they pronounce words differently than in Madrid. For example the word Barcelona in Madrid is like 'Barthelona' but in Barcelona it's 'Barselona'.

I'm sure that the South American dialect of Spanish is similar to the Catalan one (correct me if i'm wrong).

I don't know about the last part but it's true that the pronunciations do differ from one region to another.

Also what Cash says is right. Simply 'su' for male as well as female.
