"I have two great signings lined up, I will show everyone," concluded Lotito.

This was quoted from a Corriere Dello Sport interview. Is he going to pull another "rabbit from the hat" like Maurito? I also wonder if he means that the actual signing of Zarate will be concluded and if the other will be Fernandez? I wonder how long he will feel he has to keep "showing everyone"....

He said that he's going to redeem Zarate and buy other two "bombs" scratch It's too good to be true.. Experience in the past shows that most of his promises are lies (remember 2007 summer? then Lotito said he reached agreement with "a star" but at the end we got Del Nero and Meghni). Now we're linked with Branislav Ivanovic and Mascherano, but either Lotito won't buy any players or he will bring few more "stars" like Manfredini

It was only a matter of time before we were linked with Ivanovic. As I suggested last summer, it had Lotito all over it. I can see a loan deal there.

I understand why you guys hate him so much but...at least he saved Lazio some years ago. He`s not that powerfull to get players like Messi or Lampard for us...but he`s fighting in a way or another. The real thing that makes me a non-lotito-fan is that story with Di Canio. In rest..i can`t ask the impossible.
And yes, i believe him about those players.

i agree, you can see how hard he is trying, this guy really wants to improve things.

You can already see how we are breathing a different air than seasons before. he said he would stabilize and then start to grow, to me he is keeping his words after he SAVED us.

And also he got Carrizo (we had a problem..a big one, with GK last season..not that JPC prooved to be better, but that`s another story), Rozenhal, Radu (they were on loan), Lich (after Behrami left), Foggia, Zarate and he kept Rocchi and Pandev. So as far as i`m concerned..Lotito did his job. The problem is our coach..but that`s another matter.

Hope we can bring Ivanovic. He is great and young player, and our defence is very, very bad. Wink

He has seen the opportunity that we can reach 4 spot and go to CL and he want to grab it. SO he is ready to bring big names in order to achieve that goal, coz he know that money are in Cl.

Hahahaha, and that one was either Meghni or Del Nero! Thanx Kris for bringing us back to reality!

I have to admit Lotito has been doing a good job lately, but we have to remember we have been burned in the past. It may just be to get the fans motivated after some disappointing results, although I really hope it's true and will eat humble pie if it is.

With two inspired signings we could ............. maybe challange for the nr4 position.

but itīs better to think about the signings as long term and look at what we will do 2011 /2012 when we should be peaking.
