This year The Bundesliga is very interesting sunny

Its always an interesting league in my opinion. So many times over the last few years have several teams gone into the final few rounds with chances of winning it. I like watching the highlights sometimes. Some very nice goals.

I wish they showed it here in NZ on ESPN or something!

Just love to see Hertha going like this. Went to their game at home against bremen last season and had a great time. Since then I prefer them. Although I still sympathize dortmund, bremen and also bayern a bit because of their cool shirts, toni and ribery Very Happy

Yeah, me too. drunken I hope they are confident enough to stay on top
because almost every time when a team is stronger than Bayern
and they are close or on top they get cold feet because it´s hard
to handle the pressure.

Watching Hertha these days is actually a disgrace. The play one of the worst football on earth and still lead the league. This time Voronin scored with his chest after Adler saved his original shot as the rebound went right back to the stunned striker. Typically champion luck. I just pray the will fall to fourth spot, they would lose all six games in the Champions League as they play way above their potential this year.

Schalke's GM Andreas Müller is fired, Coach Fred Rutten is temporarily doing both duties AND there are talks with Oliver Kahn as the replacement!
I've no idea how that idea has been developed, but it getting crazier everyday.

It seems like the team is falling apart.
Internal problems like enviousness and lack of discipline (Eduardo) have influence on
the performance on the pitch.

I know I sound like a wisenheimer but it is no real surprise for me.
They played the first half of the season beyond their means,
fledgelings in the league, everyone praised them till the winterbreak and so it
was just a matter of time until their first crisis.

Let´s see how Rangnick will handle the situation....

The best and tightest Championship in Europe!

1) Wolfsburg - 63 Points - 2 Games left
2) Bayern Munich - 63 Points - 2 Games Left
3) Hertha BSC - 62 Points - 2 Games Left
4) VFB Stuttgart - 58 Points - 3 Gemes left

Personally i would like to see Hertha do it, im sick of Bayern winning year in year out, so i would be pleased if Hertha or Wolfsburg can win it.

My player's of the season:

Renato Augusto (Bayer Leverkusen)
Edin Dzeko (Wolfsburg)
Zvjezdan Misimović (Wolfsburg)
Patrick Ebert (Hertha BSC)
Mario Gomes (VFB Stuttgart)
Diego (Werder Bremen)
Ze Roberto (Bayern Munich)
Kuba (Borussia Dortmund)
Rene Adler (Bayer Leverkusen)
Rafinha (Schalke 04)
Neven Subotic (Borussia Dortmund)
Ivica Olic (Hamburg)

Im aware i have probably missed out some big names, but these were the few that came to mind straight away!

Same goes for the relegation zone.

13 Eintracht Frankfurt 33
14 VfL Bochum 28
15 Borussia M'gladbach 27
16 Arminia Bielefeld 27
17 Energie Cottbus 27
18 Karlsruher SC 23

Meanwhile Felix Magath signed a contract with Schalke 04 for
the upcoming season, he will be coach and manager there.

I feel sorry for Mike Büskens, Youri Mulder & Oliver Reck, as they are doing great there.

Klinsmann got fired and got replaced with "Don Jupp" Heynckes.
He will be the coach for the remaining matches and Louis van Gaal
will take over next season.

Very interesting and tight race in Germany again. I really like the Bundesliga. Watch highlights as much as I can, at least of Stuttgart. I have confidence in VfB as always and I hope they can somehow win it. Looks like it will really come down to the wire.

An incredible matchday! affraid

Looking into next weeks final games I would say Wolfsburg have the best chance of winning the league. If Bayern and Hertha had both won today then it would be a very different story - Bayern could have been first equal with Wolfsburg and Hertha second by a point.

Round 34:

Wolfsburg - Bremen
Bayern - Stuttgart
Karlsruher - Hertha

Still have faith in Stuttgart coming away with a win from the Allianz Arena and hopefully Bremen halt Wolfsburg somehow but with Grafite and Dzeko in top form, and their minds on the Uefa Cup final, it will be very difficult. Sadly Hertha are out of it I believe.

Congratulations to VfL Wolfsburg for winning the Bundesliga championship 2008/09!

Their first in their history. A great team this season led by the brilliant Felix Magath. For me, he is one of the most under rated football managers over the last few years. I heard he is off to Schalke next season? That's a shame. I would have loved to see how they do again next season, defending their crown and playing in the UCL. Hopefully they hold onto key players over the summer like Grafite, Dzeko and Misimovic!

Stuttgart finished 3rd after a 2-1 loss to Bayern.... No .... next season! Very Happy

Yeah, he should never have left us, he was playing the best football of his career with us, and it would be madness for him to return, Oddo or Litchtsteiner? Hmmm i wonder!

Maybe he could play on the right side of midfield? But he wont be coming back, that im sure of.

Yep, Lotito was spot on when talking about Pandev....players who leave Lazio go downhill. Everyone has. Oddo, Jimenez, Behrami to name a few.

Borussia Dortmund have signed striker Dimitar Rangelov from Energie Cottbus for 1.2 million Euros.

No one here probably cares but I do tongue its good to see a Bulgarian joining such a club as Dortmund. And for such a low fee, the club have got themselves a real bargain and a proven player in the Bundesliga.

All the best Dimitar - both at Dortmund and for Bulgaria!
