Honestly? I dont like him. But we will see...

gestern=Yesterday

gestern 20:00 Hamburg - VfB Stuttgart 2:0
HSV was good enough.

gestern 20:00 Frankfurt - B. München 1:2
Klose & Ribery were everywhere.

gestern 20:00 Hertha BSC - Hannover 3:0
Ever since HsbC went kaputt against Cottbus they are on form again.

gestern 20:00 Bochum - Hoffenheim 1:3
I think Hoffenheim can hoffen (Hope) for Meisterschaft, if they install enough players for the 2nd half which finacially they could.

gestern 20:00 FC Köln - Dortmund 0:1
2 of my most hated clubs clash and I DO NOT GIVE A SHITTU!!! Sleep

Saw highlights on CNN today Very Happy of the latest round of the Bundesliga.... Stuttgart losing pissed me off a bit but they are having a good season so that is good and near the top of the table. I saw Hoffenheim get the win and they looked good. The goal that Ba scored was pretty sweet and Ibisevic keeps on scoring. Well done to them!

What happened to your short, interesting comments about the games? Very much appreciated. I am learning to enjoy watching Bundesliga for entertainment and your comments do help in keeping track of what happens. I find the league, and the football, more interestib than both England and Spain at the moment. In England they score many nice goals, but it is very boring with all the running up and down, and in Spain there is no structure, the teams are spread out 100 meters between attackers and defenders..Bundesliga gives a nice mix of crazy attacking and nice close tactics...

Well, I watched Gladbach-Bayern & Bayer-S04 but didn't get a chance to watch the highlights of the rest.

M'gladbach - Bayern 2:2
The ol' rivalry still exists!
Bauern players were diving everywhere every time when they got a chance and when Franckenstein dove once a again to give them a lead of 0-2, it rather generated the Gladbach fans to be behind their players and with that motivation scored 2 goals.
The dives by Bauern may have been influenced by their coach who in that catagory was a S1 (Special One). Wink

Leverkusen - Schalke 2:1
Kuranyi scored Kuranyi ruined!
It could've been at least a tie when Kuranyi could've just scored by himself, he bone-headeadly passed it to Asamoah who scored but made it ruled offside. scratch

HSV - Werder 2:1
Disappointing Nordderby, Werda? superior, Olic made the goal of the year.

Bochum - Hertha 2:3
Hertha still a top team, Bochum woke up toooo late.

Frankfurt - Hannover 4:0 (2:0)
Frankfurter rose from the dead

Bayern - Cottbus 4:1
lead for Cottbus by Skela, nevertheless an easy win for
the Bayern, 2 goals provided by ex Oddo

Köln - Hoffenheim 1:3
Hoffenheimer continuing their fantastic play.

Bielefeld - Leverkusen 2:1
Finally a win for Arminia, Leverkusen totally disappointing,
Vidal with a shittu (credits to Brian) performance.

Wolfsburg - Stuttgart 4:1
Stuttgart Coach Veh fired after the match!
Stuttgarter looked like a Kirmestruppe!

Schalke - M'gladbach 3:1
BMG dedicated, Schalker efficient, Kuranyi got whistled and booed
while getting subtituted.

KSC - Dortmund 0:1
Karlsruher still on their way down, ex Hajnal scored for Dortmund

Bayern München - 1899 Hoffenheim 2:1
Hoffenheim did well, but Bayern won cause =luck+experience+individual class

FC Schalke 04 - Hertha BSC 1:0
Defeat for Hertha who won 4 games in a row, Schalke improved,
though they missed chances as usual

Eintracht Frankfurt - VfL Bochum 4:0
Bochum keeper sent off after 5 minutes

Karlsruher SC - Werder Bremen 1:0
Buck made the difference

Energie Cottbus - VfB Stuttgart 0:3
Will the new coach lead VfB back to the int. business?

Arminia Bielefeld - Borussia Dortmund 0:0
Both teams were desperate for 3 points, just the goals were missing

Borussia M'gladbach - Bayer Leverkusen 1:3
New coach, same perfomance. Gladbach still on their way down.

VfL Wolfsburg - Hannover 96 2:1
After a red card for 96 keeper Fromlowitz defender Rosenthal had to be
the goalkeeper. he saved the following penalty. Nevertheless Hannover lost that match.

1. FC Köln - Hamburger SV 1:2

Bayern München - 1899 Hoffenheim 2:1
A Bauern dives (van Bommel) and a Hoff (Ba) gets a yellow, a Bauern (Lucio) cracks a Hoff's (Ba) balls and gets away with nothing...

FC Schalke 04 - Hertha BSC 1:0
So far it has been one of the better match S04 played.
They certainly played better and missed few real chance by one and only Kuranyi, but still this match should've been a draw coz Kacar's disallowed goal which was not a push to Krstajic. Neutral

Eintracht Frankfurt - VfL Bochum 4:0
Probably the fastest Red card to a goalie that I've ever seen.

Karlsruher SC - Werder Bremen 1:0
Pizzaro misses, Pizzaro runs, Pizzaro gets sent off! Very Happy

Energie Cottbus - VfB Stuttgart 0:3
I hope VFB proofs they can do it again this Sat. vs. Bauern.

Arminia Bielefeld - Borussia Dortmund 0:0
Great performance by Arminia, could have gotten the 3 with a bit of luck.

Borussia M'gladbach - Bayer Leverkusen 1:3
BMG played well and missed many chances, with their talents they should get B. Schuster on the bench.

VfL Wolfsburg - Hannover 96 2:1
Edin Dzeko the greatest diver in Buli this saison makes all Bauern divers (tought by their coach who is the Special One at diving) jelous.
So good if Klisie is the Special One, he'll be called the Chosen One! Wink
Anyway though H96 lost there was justice when Dzeko dived (which also made the Goalie sent off while all subs were used) but Dzeko's PK was saved by a field player.

I saw the Borussia derby yesterday even if there was nothing special in the match, Dortmund seem to have a couple of interesting players. The central defence is quite strong and domminant in the air and if I heard right they are both U21 players. Tinga is one of the fastest players I've seen and its amazing that at the age of 30 or 31 he can still run like that for 90 minutes. That polish winger is also impressive (Kuba?) can defend posses good dribbling skills and provided the goal for Sahin, never stopped running he reminded me a bit of a young Nedved. A great goal by van der Berg? at the other end an amazing shot.

Yes Kuba (Jakub Blaszczykowski), good player, once linked with la Lazio.

Hoffenheim - S04 1:1
Hoffenheim now Waldmeister, err I mean Herbstmeister

Stuttgart - Bayern 2:2
That match kept what it promised, a mistake by keeper Rensing
made the drawn for Stuttgart possible.

Bremen - Wolfsburg 2:1
Bremer turned the match after early strike by Gentner

Hamburg - Frankfurt 1:0
HSV weak, though they managed to score against harmless Frankfurter

Leverkusen - Cottbus 1:1
Everybody was expeciting a win for Bayer, but against all odds
Shao marked the goal in overtime

Hertha - Karlsruhe 4:0
Hertha still in excellent shape

Hannover - Bielefeld 1:1
König Arthur did it again

Bochum - Köln 1:2
Despite two sent off players Cologne managed to win

BVB - Gladbach 2:1
No hope for Gladbach?

Being of Iranian descent I read a bit extra about Mahdavikias return to Hamburg this round. From what I have read the fans never stopped cheering his name, and althrough the game they screamed as soon as he touched the ball. How is Mahdavikias status in Germany these days? In HSV he was a star and very much loved by the fans. He left for Frankfurt and ever since he has striggles to earn a spot (a few injuries have made it harder of course..). He commented the return and the treatment of the fans as one of the strongest experiences in his career...

He became quick the crowds favorite in Hamburg and was one the best provider/winger in the Liga.
He also had several offers forum big international clubs.
I remember one from Arsenal that he refused. After his contract extension (he got a shitload of money)
Mehdis perfomances became worser. So he left the club towards Frankfurt. But the HSV fans never
forget what he´d done for the club so you still can hear the MEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHDIIIIIIIIII from
the audience.

To us Iranians he is a legend. And obviously also for the HSV fans. You are right about his play decreased in quality after his 3.5 mil euro salary (I think it was that much, and for like 5 years or so...), but he has always been very loyal. I think he should have ended his game in HSV, and in that way becoming even more of a fans favourite. He would be ok with being a sub.
I remember him winning the assist league a few years back. Amazing crosses at points...

So, there´s still the winterbreak in Germany, a few interesting things happened:

-Hoffenheim Top-Striker Ibisevic suffered a cruciate ligament rupture

-Podolskis return to cologne seems to be VERY close

-American striker Landon Donovan is now with Bayern M.

-Lots of trouble auf Schalke, the hierarchy seems to collide,
J. Jones attacked the coach and others players.
Dont misunderstand: He just speaks out loud whats going wrong.
It MAY be that Bordon wont be captain too long

-HSV Top-Star Olic joins Bayern next season

-Leverkusens top midfielder Augusto renewed his contract

-Munteanu leaves Wolfsburg and joins Arminia on loan with option

-Stuttgart signed 1860 star Timo Gebhart

-Galindo left Frankfurt, young goalkeeper Fährmann from s04 will join em next season

-Timo Hildebrand left Valencia and joined Hoffenheim

-Gladbach signed oldie Galasek

Nice to see that Galasek is still playing. He was one of my favourite Ajax players years ago when they reigned supreme in Holland and did very well in the UCL and in Europe.

Hildebrand returns to Germany finally and to a very good team.

I heard that Ibisevic may be out till the end of the season!? If that is true then its very, very bad news for Hoffenheim as they are near the top of the Bundesliga and he is the leagues top scorer. Hope he recovers fast and returns!
