IŽll do my best: (Translation of Javier erfi Lopez's letter to all of you!)

"Hi to all dear friends, I am very thankful for your concerns about the state in Iran. I need to say that after the elections taking place, and ............the situation in Iran is very chaotic and it is nearly a week that we have been seeing massive demonstrations in the streets. Specially in the [large] cities, such as Tehran, Shiraz and Tabriz.
During this recent time also a few people have been killed, but the general atmosphere is good and there are no other problems we are worrying about. Most of the demonstartions have been taking place in and around universities, first and foremost Sharif and Tehran [uni] and during evenings and nights there have been attacks and some students have been killed, and this is also spreading to other universities as well. One other example is my own univeristy, Ferdowsi in Mashad, where the final exams have been post-poned and the last part of the semester has been cancelled, just as in all other universities in all other cities. Every day we attend demonstrations, as well as other kind of [peaceful] protests, while in the city centre there are more of confrontation.
I will do my best to visit this place more often, and report on what is happening. I hope this situation resolves as soon as possible ...................................."

Sorry if there are mistakes, but I hope got most of it right...

Take care brother! .............. Zende bad Iran!

Erfan, what's the atmosphere in Mashad? you know, Mashad is a religious city in Iran... who were the people supporting before Election? Ahmadinejad or Musavi?

in Tehran, i'm sure that atleast above 60% of people voted for Musavi!!

Just an idea guys,

Maybe its better to post to eachother via private messages? Publicly denouncing Iranian political figures on an open forum, whilst living in Iran maybe a dangerous activity?

Hope you guys are all well.

Because I needed a "stamp" to get in to Iran. A stamp guaranteeing that I could come to Iran and then back to Sweden again (this is what I have to do since I have doubble citizenship). When my passport was at the embassy, they decided to not give ut back to avoid adding people to the already chaotic situation there...

Stay in touch guys. The whole world is watching...

Please Hamid and Erfi, keep in touch. Our worries (but also hope for a change) here are growing, just now I spoke to relatives and they informed me that they have problms contacting the world outside Iran now, No phone cards work, and many internet sites are closed. Reports that I recieve are very strange now, all my relaives, in phone, tell me that everything is soooooo good. I know it is because of their fear and the knowledge that they are under surveillance. This is the most frightening aspect - no one is telling the truth any longer and foreign media is forced out of the country.

I have still not been given my passport, I wish I was there with you, but even more I want you all to know that we are all supporting the people wanting change. I know what society you live in, and maybe this is the events we have all been waiting for.

Change come through sacrifice.

I think the biggest enemy of people in Iran is national television
.
While all the world is condemning Iran regime for their violence against people, Iran TV sympathizes with Palestinians and criticizes Israel!!!

While government forces attack ordinary people in the streets, Iran TV calls those people anarchist and rebels!!

Here the TV says that all media around the world (such as BBC, CNN, ... ) want to divide the people of the country, B'cuz they dont like Iran and they dont like Islam!!

I can't stand the craps of Iran TV more!

The National TV issue that you bring forward is of course a result of the government. Who else is in charge of the TV networks?

Do you get to hear anything about what is going on in regard to demonstrations and such, outside Iran?

Here in stockholm demonstrations are held each and every day. Some people...dont ask who...even invaded the Iranian embassy in Stockholm last week...

Anyways Hamid jan, I hope you are all well, family and friends, It is a tough time, but brighter ones shall follow. Maybe not now, but later...

yeah i`m good, as i said in mashhad we dont have any crowd in streets, but in university we had demonstrations many times, but all of them finished last week too. from that time many students arrested by police or called for Intelligent service of Iran. from last week they call me two times there, & even they want to prevent me to go higher education (i almost accept for master degree in Sharif University) next year. although tonight is my graduation ceremony i must go again there for answer to them tomorrow Crying or Very sad anyway physically i`m good but mentally i have really really terrible week & i hope this problem solve soon

Love U all of laziale for your concern about us & all Iranian peoples.
