a nice transfer would be one of the young slovaks Stoch or Weiss Jr...i dont think they will survive at Chelsea or Man City this season and their clubs would look again for a loan deal....

also, instead of paying 13 mil for Hernanes, better pay 12 mil for Podolski...FC Koln announce that this is the selling price...

Anybody know what it going on with Riquelme? Last i heard he was a free agent. At 32 i think he still has 2-3 good years left in him considering he is world class and he would be the perfect playmaking alternative to ledesma, or perhaps even beside him. Not to mention it would give all our Argies a boost. I think he would provide leadership too. If his wage demands are reasonable and he is willing to come to rome I cant see why we wouldnt make a move. Also i still cant believe we arent being linked with Giovincio or Cignarini more often.

Guti ? Oh please ... we don't need more players who can do well for maximun 1,2 seasons. Thats not the way to make a big team and also I'm pretty sure that he wants an enourmous salary.

Guti!? No thanks. He'd be a sub player and would want a massive salary as well. Plus he's an average player IMO.

Someone please tell Lotito, Roman is free agent!! Hence, no need for us to spend 13 million euros on Hernanes, I'd rather we spend that money on wages, improves contracts and so on..

We have enough players who have good experience, now we need some young ones! Riquelme has past his good years and after going back to Argentina I'm pretty sure that if he chooses to come back to Europe he will be a big flop.

A good attacking midfielder/winger for a very good price:

Dacian Varga (romanian, 25yo, Sportul Studentesc Bucharest)

Played last season with Unirea Urziceni in CL, made very good games against Stuttgart and Seville, played well against Liverpool...
His price tag is 2 mil euro...thats very cheap for a player who proved he can play in Europe...

He is more like a winger, would be like Foggia who also can't play trequartista. Same with Hernanes. I want us to sign a natural trequartista.

Maybe he doesn't want to come to Lazio and maybe Udinese want too much money for him ... and why should we get him when we can get Hernanes ?

Napoli wanted Inler, and Udinese were asking for 13 million euro minimum.

Can anyone of our Belgian forumites here tell me something about Christian Benteke? Serie A standard? Would love for us to buy some up & coming players whilst they are reasonably cheap.
