PostSubject: Pre-season friendlies   Sun Jun 21, 2009 5:26 pm

Just wondering about the schedule for any friendly matches this year so I thought I'd see if any of you in the know have an idea of any yet? Of course, I'm really just praying for a well organised friendly in the UK again Very Happy it seems that some Italian teams have games against PL clubs already..

I assume so, judging from the link I provided looks that way. Its an Auronzo Representative team. The friendly against Romanian side Universitatea Craiova will be played in Austria at the pre-season training camp, if that's any indication? Very Happy

I definitely agree phantomm, it would be good to play some decent teams again, rather than just the provincial sides who we beat 12-0 etc.

Liverpool was a great test for us last year. We need those types of games ahead of a Europa League Campaign.

Hopefully we can line up a few more, but unlike previous year's, we have Europa League Qualifiers, Mid August and a SuperCoppa, probably explianing the lack of big name friendley's just yet.

can someone translate this

and this

PostSubject: Re: Pre-season friendlies   Sat Jul 11, 2009 6:42 pm

Using the dodgy microsoft translator this is the whole translation -

Lazio part with the entusiamo. Today at Fiumicino team is period Cadore Auronzo. Many fans to greet the Lazio that will be. There is the smell of new air and breathes desire to return to be protagonists. Fans there hoping and waiting eagerly the arrival of a player that still more enthusiasm.

In the last few hours the words of the public prosecutor Jose Alberti increased expectations. The Lazio is dealing with an Argentine player very strong. The clues lead to Roman Riquelme or Diego Buonanotte. Two player in the Lotito notebook time. Important for the biancocelste midfield. Two that together with Zarate infiammerebbero, and not just the laziale public. Meanwhile continue polls for Pavel Nedved, a blow that would impennare sales of subscriptions. The President has already become accustomed to blows to surprise. Also for the attack names are so many but we are sure that the name that will be is one of those ever mentioned. The docet Zarate affair.

Meanwhile to Formello you work for the new Lazio. Pending a pink short, there are two most important indications: confirmation of the 4-4-2 and the inclusion of Radu in the Centre of defence. Ballardini has indeed tried four formations, by organizing two friendly; mini all and four teams have been deployed with 4-4-2, schema that has been tested apart from players field. Symptom technician does not want to move away from his beliefs but rather want players to adapt to its role.

At the Centre of defence, in two formations, Romanian Radu, was povato in the past few days had reaffirmed the desire to be presented in the role of stopper. Radu is placed side by side with Seville and raises his candidature in preparation for next season.

Remains of meshes in Lazio Style tour. Also yesterday many fans, the judgment remains the same among players. Meghni describes it as: ' the mesh has faced something a little odd (the V white below with the with, becoming), but the important thing is that the Eagle '. For the season but has good intentions: ' Speriamo to move forward in Cup Italy and Europe - said the French-, we are doing well in all three competitions '.

Also Rozenhal has expressed its opinion on new uniforms: ' the color is a little strange, but it is important win '. Contrary opinion of Foggia: ' the mesh is beautiful, I am struggling to get a XS '
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I love the bits about the shirts! Poor Foggia needs a smaller one, it always seems players have XL whatever size they are, not our Foggia! Radu in central defence is what lots of us wanted to see last pre-season, bad news is that it is with "Seville" and not Stendardo or Rozenhal.
