but maybe Caxi right, it's not about the crowd or the fans at all... it's about Mr. Rossi, Cribari was tired of the Mr, he and maybe many other Lazio players were always afraid they're going to be left behind in the next games if they make mistake in the current game, and after that they maybe can be left behind forever!! (remember Delio's treatment at Baronio, Stendardo etc, its a very long list btw)

Yes perhaps there is more to it and I too believe there is, but just from the incident its hard to tell and that's why I don't entirely blame Cribari or the tifosi. I am sure Rossi has something to do with this.

Maybe another fall out between player and coach is creeping closer to us?? No

these are the fans that put their money in each week to follow this team, they might earn in a year what Cribari earns in a week.

Maybe the players should start to respect the support the tifosi provide each week, at the Olimpico or in trasferta.

I'm a big fan of Cribari but if I was a regular in the curva his comments would disgust me, and it shows he can't handle the pressure of playing for Lazio, the pressure of playing for the popolo laziale.

Booing and whistling is to be expected from the stadium, correct.

But targeting a specific player is downright outrageous. Ok, the fans would have booed anyone who was taken off but Rossi knew that and subbing Cribari was "unnecessary". It was "unnecessary" to subject Cribari to that.

That's what he's unhappy about. He's unhappy that Rossi allowed him to get that treatment.

And to be honest, I don't care that the fans earn in a year what Cribari earns in a week and all that rubbish. The guy has offered to go unpaid, tell me how many players do that? Cribari should be a fan favourite and the fact he's not says a lot about our fans.

Emilson will leave in the summer because our fans will do nothing to keep him and the guys who pay to see their team week in week out are ultimately letting the club and themselves down.

It was not only Cribari who got booed, damn it. They booed after the match and it was meant to the whole squad. I'm sure Siviglia, Ledesma, Matuzalem or anyone else would have get booed if they were the substituted one.

I don't blame the fans for booing Criba, I think it was a stupid decision from il Mister to substitute him with only 8 mins remaining which subjected him to the booing. It was humiliating, to make a straight swap for another CB, if he was brought off for an attacking player I would have understood or even if he was taken off at half time then that again would have been acceptable, but I think the decision to bring him off when he did in a straight swap for Rozehnal was bizarre.
It's not like it did anything anyway, 2 mins later we conceded again.

I think that the kind of sarcasm thing that Cribari did to insult Lotito because the latter is taking too much time, energy and thinking for just to extend the former's contract... Emilson just gets tired of everything... No

I don't agree here. Rossi changed him after a bad performance , big deal. And if he really cries about that , it is not professional at all for me. I don't know why you are defending him. I don't want Rossi to be our coach anymore , but if everyone react like this after a substitute I don't know where are we going...

Cribari is not the only one giving something to the club. What about Rocchi , what about Carrizo , what about Radu , Diakite or Foggia and so on , Kolarov who was benched almost all the season. If he can't handle the pressure and to earn his place on the pitch it is his problem. He made a lot of inconsistent performances anyway!

There is no drama , except if the problem is not something personal , in this case I am tend to understand , but otherwise I can't accept this.

I Strongly disagree !! how could u guys say that !! wtf !! Emilson is one of the most dedicated players ive ever seen ! so what if they pay to watch the team , suppose Emilson is the worst player on earth was it his decision or rossi's to field him? more over does he deserv to be boeed? is that the way u repay a player as if the whistles are gonna change anything in the score.IMO i see emilsion one of the best defenders we've got he never nagged abt being a benchwarmer or asked for a raise or a transfer, Curva nord pays to see the team? whistle lotito whistle Rossi and whistle a mercernary not a player who gave his all for more than 4 years for the team.Shame on you curva nord i was always proud of you but now i am ashamed !

They started to "bo" when he was subbed, i dunno if it was just a coincidence or they were really boing him.

well then did any consider the fans were booing at the subbing of Cribari?

Let me add something here, Cribari stated earlier, he didn't care about money as long as he stays with us, Cribari played with a broken nose against Dinamo Bucharest earlier last season. He did play bad last game, but who didn't? I rated Siviglia worse than Cribari in this match, but he didn't get substituted.. He missed a tackle which led to Chievo's 2nd goal, but Siviglia should have had it covered, he didn't, we conceded, big deal, smelling as happens..

Like Gio said, the way he got substituted with only 8 minutes to go which upset him, I can understand him, but if you guys still remember, for some reason Rossi didn't play him for a period of time (during October - November), he wasn't even on the bench, he didn't complain, he was only playing regularly after Cagliari's (1-4) defeat, so please give him a break..

I must agree on this, can understand what Rossi sees in Sivigla...He is the one who should leave this team,33 old is much for defender like him.Cribari and Rozehnal I want to see until the end of the season!

frederick if Sivigla had done the tackle he risked a straight red as he was the last man in the defense

otherwise I agree with you - Rossi made a mistake you don't change a CB and let in a CB. If he had put an offensive player I could understand, but the sub Rossi made...... no comment

nono, dude,Siviglia only had to kick the friggin ball! and he missed!

I agree frederick, this is a very loyal player. but if he doesnt want to play here - he shouldn't be here. No motivation for a team is never good. But let him calm down, everybody was upset.

well danish imagine he misses the ball and hits pelisier - straight red :) or pelisier goes down (simulation) and the ref buys it - red card. the blame for that goal goes 80% to Cribari. I hate to say it but his job was 100 times more easy than the job Sivigla had to do

Cribari's statements were heat of the moment stuff, when someone cares about a club it must be hard to be jeered off the field and humilated like that. The defence at times on sunday was so bad it was laughable, but these things happen. Cribari had been stellar prior to that so theres no doubt he can play. Still, Siviglia has to go in the summer, hes not capable of taking Lazio forward and somthing needs to be done in the mercato. We have shipped 40 goals in the league in 28 games, thats dreadful.

On that second goal, when Cribari goes in to make the tackle, he is still unsure as to whether Ledesma is going to make a tackle and if both players went in fully committed, one, if not both would end up horribly injured.

Ledesma has left Pelissier to Cribari and Cribari is sort of expecting Ledesma to do something. Essentially, it is a mix up between the two guys.

When Pelissier meets Siviglia, the only thought in Sebastiano's mind should be getting rid of the ball, not fearing a sending off or a dive by Pelissier. For whatever reason he does absolutely nothing. I would attribute the majority of the blame to Methuselah himself.

Siviglia won't stay beyond this season, I think Angeleri was lined up as a direct transfer in for Seba, a right centre back for a right centre back. Also, contrary to previous speculation, I don't believe Cribari was going to leave either and I don't think Lotito in particular wants him to go.

Stendardo could be the focus point of the mercato.

The blame on the goal goes 80% Kolarov for passing the ball to Pelissier when our team were forward. 15% Criba and 5% Siviglia.

I think the fact that none of us can agree on who is at fault for the goal serves only to demonstrate why Cribari shouldn't have been singled out.

Guess thats it. Ciao Emilson! Grazie per tutti! You have a big big heart, but your game is unfortunately not as good as your mentality towards the club has been during these years.

I'll still insist that if we got one top notch defender, Emilson would have been the bees knees. Always felt he tried to do a two man job and over compensate for other's weaknesses.

I will miss the guy immensely, his heart his huge and he would have been a good back up at the very least. Unfortunately, we, the fans and the club, let him down when he needed us most.
