There is no appeal possible, the decision will be definitive. Yesterday Pandev's lawyers said to be "confident" about the sentence. lotito, on the other hand, was expelled from the court because of his reiterated protests and continuous asking to postpone the trial due to "bad weather conditions" (I don't know whether it's more funny or more sad).

...like the legal session was going to take place outside in the cold. Lotito is so pathetic - such a justification to postpone the session.

I would laugh, very hard, as this is just ridiculous. But to think that our beloved club with 110 years of history behind it is in this man's hands.

Che tristezza.

gola.com says the contract is officially terminated

IMO it is a stupid decision by the court but that's the way it is

Completely agree. None of us may support Lotito but a president's job is to preside; to exercise his right of authority.

So when Pandev says "I want to leave Lazio" and Lotito reckons he has a contract to honour and can sit in the stands for 14 months, I believe that is a president exercising his authority...rightly or wrongly.

The court decides otherwise for some weird reason. Great, so Claudio has no power? Getting rid of him should be no problem then... Suspect

Pandev is free.
This judgement ( the first one in Italy) will able other player to set their contract in different way.
Tomorrow Ledesma, then ........

Lotito is loosing all and his lawyer , with him , is making money.

Nice game ...Who's next?

Well that's the thing Paolo...this is a judgement against Claudio...not a judgement against the power of presidents.

In 90% of other clubs, Pandev would never have won this case. You could argue that in 90% of clubs he wouldn't get the treatment he got here either...

what are you talking about.... Tell me an example of this with another player... If you cant find then this: You could argue that in 90% of clubs he wouldn't get the treatment he got here either... is becoming 100% of the clubs

Correct Caxi.
I know how the System work" for players and Football team.
The point is that i do not accept the conduction of the the all situation by la Societa' against Pandev Ledesma, Santarelli, Mauri, stendardo, Mutarelli Zauri etc etc...

I am always with la Societa' to defend our Team when la Societa' is strong and with Style.
Today and since one year i am far away from Lotito, Gentile, Tare, Scibetta ( the ream admin of the whole company)and few others around .
This management has no value , no power.

Lotito got what he deserved, and this is the most obvious indication, so far, that our president is driving this club to hell...

I dont find the decision strange at all; if one takes into consideration the way Pandev has been treated, this is nothing but right. ´When things come around, we all have to understand why Pandev wanted out. After all, we have been losing important players over the last few years, and almost all of them have said "I am not leaving Lazio, I am leaving lotito". He is a disgrace, and should be executed.

spot on. he is the president - he decides. I'm completely behind Lotito on this one. It doesn't matter if it is a wrong decision or right one. and I personally think leaving pandev and ledesma out was the right decision

What do you guys mean? That if the President of a club wants, he could go and take a smelling as on a players face as well? There is a difference between excercising authority, and something completely different to insult, injure and try to destroy the carreer of a player the way Lotito has...

how was pandev treated? he got benched cause he wanted to leave the club so badly that he didn't want to renew so he could go easily this summer for no money at all. I don't know for you but I consider this an action against the club and Lotito's move was the right one ! Pandev loved Lazio? why didn't he want to renew so Lazio can get the right amount of money for him? Do you remember what Kaka said before going to Madrid? I love Milan but the club needs the money and that is why I'm leaving. Now that is a player who loves his club, not some dude claiming to do so and wanting to leave ASAP...

It happens in football all the time. I've already stated cases on a similar level to Goran's (Lescott at Everton, Beckham at Man U etc.)

The difference with those cases is the player was sold for copious amounts of money because they were highly desirable. Pandev is a great player but he is not that desirable. Equally, Lazio cannot act like the big clubs. Lotito is probably most guilty of assuming he could.

Was it right that Real Madrid refused to play VDV for no apparent reason at the preicse time his wife was seriously ill? Did Lotito do something more serious with Goran? I don't think so but the fact remains - 1. Goran can take legal action against little Lazio and win and 2. Lotito hasn't got the financial muscle and community respect to be harsh and get away with it.

For me, it is a judgement against Lotito but also a damnation against Lazio for being a little club and a decision that hands "big" players at "small" clubs all the power. Nothing against Goran for utilising it, along with the others.

I'm the same as Paolo and I understand why it is our duty to protect the players but I also feel there are such things as boundaries and individual cases. I'm guessing Lotito feels such boundaries have been crossed and to be honest, I would be disappointed if he didn't contest it.

As I said before:

About this matter we knew very little. No body can tell what really happened behind close doors.
But what I know is this, Lazio got really bad reputation just before the mercato. THat is a bad sign especially when we haven't results to rely on.

Caxi.... Beckham was always playing for United and was never denyed training with the first team... Beckham was sold for 25.000.000 euros because he had 2 years of his deal with United... Pandev was in his last year Wink... Beckham at that time was among the best 5-10 players in the world. Pandev is among the best 5-10 players in BALKAN... Lescott case was the most simular to Pandev altough he also had 2 years left from his contract and Everton did saw that they are in no win situation and if they wait a year long Lescott worth will decrease... So they did what Lotito should have done.... None of the players in other club were treated the way Ledesma and Pandev were treated... Any club who is treating the players like Lotito and Lazio treatied will be realised from there contract... Players are not slaves.....
