No.. because Lotito could have easyly take for Pandev 4-5 milion euros... Instead he wanted 10+ milions and when he find out that he will not get that kind of money he altered to destroy Pandev carier... He didnt do that also Wink GET IT???

haha...so if you know you have a product for 10 mil you are going to agree to sell him for 4-5 mil? Instead of offering a new contract and wait? ... does it seem logical to you :)

the thing is pandev wanted out of the club one way or another and that is why he didn't renew

But what I know is this, Lazio got really bad reputation just before the mercato. THat is a bad sign especially when we haven't results to rely on.

I fully agree on this. I wonder what the effect of this reputation on our future targets. Especialy if they have a choice of Lazio and another club of equal stature.

Caxi.... Beckham was always playing for United and was never denyed training with the first team... Beckham was sold for 25.000.000 euros because he had 2 years of his deal with United... Pandev was in his last year Wink... Beckham at that time was among the best 5-10 players in the world. Pandev is among the best 5-10 players in BALKAN... Lescott case was the most simular to Pandev altough he also had 2 years left from his contract and Everton did saw that they are in no win situation and if they wait a year long Lescott worth will decrease... So they did what Lotito should have done.... None of the players in other club were treated the way Ledesma and Pandev were treated... Any club who is treating the players like Lotito and Lazio treatied will be realised from there contract... Players are not slaves.....

When Pandev had 2 years left on his contract, his representatives announced that he was made a contractual offer that was economically sufficient. Lotito didn't want to sell him. Goran never signed. He waited almost a year and declares that he is leaving Lazio publicly at a proud moment in our history when fans would be at their most sympathetic. Also, that was months before a mercato, alerted sides that he would be available for cheap and nobody was prepared to stump up the big bucks. In addition to this, the fact that Pandev and Rossi appeared to cook up a fake injury story to excuse his poor performances also didn't do him any favours.

I don't care if Lotito demanded 19-20mil, he is a relatively successful businessman, he knew he would never get that, he would have sold if it was economically beneficial, he is many things but not an idiot. I can only conclude that no acceptable offers were made for Goran; just my own personal opinion, based on circumstancial evidence.

Players are not slaves, they are workers. Read some Galactico comments on life in Madrid; would make Pandev look like he was getting royal treatment. It happens. My point is, the big clubs would never have received a judgement like this against them regardless of what went on behind the scenes.

You should study an economy to understand me... Market creates the price tags... If no-one gives 10 mill for Pandev then he is not worthed 10 mill... He is worthed as much as the best offer put at the table... Reason of that are not important....

Caxi..... If Lotito offered Pandev a contract two years ago I doubt that Pandev said to him let me think about it for a year.... I'm the president you are the player.... And you have 2 years of a contract-expirement.... I offer you a deal and give you a mount to decide... You are not satisfied... I offer you another inproved contract or I'm selling you... If I offer an inproved contract I give you 10 days to decide... You are not satsified.. I put you on sale... THATS HOW IS DONE

Lotito got what he deserved, and this is the most obvious indication, so far, that our president is driving this club to hell...

I dont find the decision strange at all; if one takes into consideration the way Pandev has been treated, this is nothing but right. ´When things come around, we all have to understand why Pandev wanted out. After all, we have been losing important players over the last few years, and almost all of them have said "I am not leaving Lazio, I am leaving lotito". He is a disgrace, and should be executed.

how was pandev treated? he got benched cause he wanted to leave the club so badly that he didn't want to renew so he could go easily this summer for no money at all. I don't know for you but I consider this an action against the club and Lotito's move was the right one ! Pandev loved Lazio? why didn't he want to renew so Lazio can get the right amount of money for him? Do you remember what Kaka said before going to Madrid? I love Milan but the club needs the money and that is why I'm leaving. Now that is a player who loves his club, not some dude claiming to do so and wanting to leave ASAP...

I never said Pandev loved Lazio, but after knowing a little bit about how Lotito treated pandev regarding the new contract, after setting a crazy price tag on his head, and eventually claiming that Pandev's exclusion was due to him not being "good enough", you do not need much more proof on the fact that Pandev has been treated extremely badly...

..and next is Ledesma...

Argh.

Ever hear of leaving a final offer on the table and letting the player decide? Ever hear of the player saying "no" at that point? With 4 months breaks between the close and opening of a mercato, that is four months were the president's hands are tied. I don't know at what point an acceptable offer is made but I'm currently searching for the quotes that said it was...

Well president hands shouldn't be tied right Caxi. I mean president should allways knew what their players want.

If you have some rebel that destroys the team atmosphere then sell him, if you have deadwood then sell them, if you have talented players and want the team to be built on them then you won't wait until the last 6 months of the contract but be always in touch with players agent in order to see if either you can offer them a deal and keep them or if they want too much then agree with them to be sold.

Win win situations but you'll need a smart presidente First.

No, I agree with that but Pandev changed last year and I think it caught Lotito off guard. Claudio made a load of mistakes, granted but some of the things he is being accused of is ludicrous.

I'd like to write down many things, but I'll restrain myself for a while. In the meantime, here is an abstract from a very recent interview (source tele radio stereo) from Delio Rossi

Delio Rossi “What they did to Pandev is not fair”

Delio Rossi: Goran is not the guy they want to depict now. He has always done his part, doing his best for the team, and he never complained. Other players complained more than once, but Goran never dared: for this reason I find it is not fair what is going on around him. Pandev was the most substituted player when I was the manager. Surely he was not happy, but he never protested and always behaved as a professional footballer. He grew exponentially, from a national-level player to an international level one.

journalist: Was there any intention to sell him since the last season?

Delio Rossi: As far as I know, no. Surely the discussion of the renewal was postponed too much and when it eventually arrived, Goran probably had different requests from the initial ones. The timing was really wrong, you cannot propose a renewal during the year when the contract is expiring.

So according to Rossi, Lotito didn't want to sell Goran and he was offered a contract. That makes sense.

Perhaps someone should ask him about that toe injury which was affecting Pandev's game, which needed surgery and which miraculously healed with no explanation? Wait, Delio and Goran have more loyalty to each other than Lotito? Ah...that makes sense.

We'll never get to the bottom of this...

Quote :

Goran Pandev says his contract rescission is “the end of a nightmare” and blasted Lazio chiefs Claudio Lotito and Ighli Tare.

Today the Lega Calcio tribunal ruled that the striker could terminate his contract and was owed 160,000 Euros in damages after he was frozen out of the squad for six months.

“I am so very happy, it is the end of a nightmare,” grinned the Macedonian. “It is something I never expected and would not want to go through again.

“I’m sorry for Lazio, but on the other hand I had to get away from a person who hurt me very much.”

Pandev made it clear he blamed President Lotito and director Tare for the fact he was left on the sidelines all season.

“I will always remain a Lazio fan and I thank the supporters. I feel for them, as they’re going through a difficult time because they realise who they’re dealing with now.

“Lotito and Tare do not deserve to run such a prestigious club.”

Pandev’s lawyer stated he is now free to negotiate with any side, but Lotito has already warned he’ll continue the legal action through the appeals court.

“It is a bitter end to his time at Lazio and after Christmas the player will calmly evaluate his future,” added agent Carlo Pallavicino.

“At this moment he is thinking of those Lazio fans who never abandoned him and the regret that they are losing such an important player.

“It is very sad that it came to this. It shouldn’t have ended this way.”

http://www.football-italia.net/

Well at least they did not forget the fans.

Anyway this is a major disappointment.

I just dont understand how people can actually try to support a guy that is constantly being bashed by players that leave us... I remember back in the days when Cesar left, and he was blaming Lotit, how everyone thought he was just a bad "loser". Is there ANY player that has left Lazio and said something positive about Lotito?

Fergie can give Macheda a contract because in England it´s legal to give a 17 years old boy a professional contract. In Italy and spain it is not allowed.

Only because we are SS Lazio that this happens. Had it been Manchester United or Real Madrid, Pandev would not won the case in a court..

Doesn't matter though, I believe justice has been served in this case. We lost money, so let this be a lesson for our wonderful president. Just because you " own " a player due a contract, it does mean that you can treat them like the dirt you walk on....

As a human being I am happy about the outcome, since I fully believe everything Pandev has said about Lotito...As a Laziale I am sad that we lost this great player without getting any money for him.
